Vikings defense shows up, scores two tds and pulls out upset in New Orleans 34 to 23
Minnesota's defense came up big all night long and carried the team to victory ... the Saints started off the scoring at the end of the 1st quarter ... after many attempts in the red zone the Vikings defense came away with a small victory as they held the Drew Brees led attack to only a field goal ... Minnesota would then march down the field, failing to punch the ball into the end zone had to settle on a Ryan Lindell FG ... on the ensuing Saints possession Drew Brees was picked off by Chris Cook who returned the ball 68 yds to the end zone, giving the Vikings a 10 to 3 lead ... the Saints would again move the ball down field but again were shut down in the red zone and left to kick another FG ... Vikings got the ball with under 2 minutes left and Christian Ponder mastered a TD scoring drive as he threw to TE Carlson on a 2 yd td pass extending the lead to 17 to 3 ... The Saints would then try to throw the ball downfield and were picked off again which resulted in Adrian Peterson's 2 yd td run ... score leading into the half 24 to 6 ... the start of the 3rd quarter did not get any better for Brees as he threw his 3rd pick on the day which again resulted in a pick 6 ... The Saints would then score 10 pts in a row cutting the lead down to 31 to 16 ... The Vikings would add a FG and the Saints would finish off the game with a td pass to WR Wilson from 7 yds out ... final score Vikings 34 to 23 ... gg NeuroticTruth

Titans Not Laying Down in Win over Jacksonville
Titans Coach is not known for laying down and quitting even late in the season, when your season is over. 'My ways as a coach were taught through me at a young age, never give up.' This is what coach has taught his players. Yeah the season may not extend into the post season this year but the coach has made it clear that giving up will find a fast way to the FA. With all that said Titans were looking to take out 'the new era' Jacksonville Jaguars. The game was a very high scoring game that seemed to have a lot of things go Titans way in the first half, which left the Jags in a spot to battle in the 2nd half. They have a very tough team and they as well do not give up as Jordan Mapa would lead a charge multiple times down the field. This team has multiple people at multiple positions that can hurt you. This hard fought, very high offensive explosion would come down to who had the better kicker. Titans with the game tied would face a 54 yarder and Bironas would knock in a line drive that barely squeaked in the goal post. Jags would have just under 2 mins and 2 timeouts and would work it right down the field and faced a 55 yarder that was on line just short. All in all it's a tough ending to such a high scoring game, but everything matters. As for the rest of the Titans season they will continue playing ball and working on things that need fixed. So far everything looked good.

    Patriots Win 27-17.
    They came to play.
Brady throws two picks but luckily the Patriots were up 17-0 at that point. With 30 seconds left in the half, #12 led the team down to a field goal to go into the locker room up 20-10. The Pats would score to make it 27-10 as Shane Vereen took it to the house. The Texans would score again but that would not be enough.
Brady threw for 225 yards but 2 interceptions and 0 touchdowns. Shane Vereen led the Patriots' running game with 5 carries for 61 yards and 1 TD. Ridley who was injured and left the game in the 4th quarter carried 12 times for 42 yards and scored the Patriots' first two touchdowns. Gronk led the receiving core with 5 receptions but only 65 yards. Wes Welker had 5 catches for 109 yards. Defensively, Chandler Jones had the only sack for the Pats D and also recovered a fumble up 14-0, which led to 3 points. Cleon Smith, Devin McCourty, Dont'a Hightower and Ras-I Dowling all had interceptions.
Ryan Mallett threw for 310 yards but had 4 costly interceptions and 0 touchdowns. Arian Foster was completely shut down as he only mustered up 23 yards on 14 carries. Andre Johnson ate the Pats up alive grabbing 5 catches for 143 yards. Kareem Jackson had a pick six and Connor Barwin had a leap of faith as he clawed an interception out of the air. Texans' Kicker Mike Nugent missed a kick that he shanked wide left. The Texans opted to go for it on a key 4th down when they could have kicked a field goal which in the end hurt their chances on making it a closer game.

The Dolphins welcomed the Bills to Miami for their AFC East match-up and the Dolphins were looking to keep alive their slim playoff hopes. The game started slowly in the 1st Qtr but each team found the endzone for a 7-7 tie. Miami continued to mix the run and pass and behind a stingy defense built a 14-10 halftime lead. In the 2nd half the Dolphins continued and ultimately built a 28-10 4th Qtr lead and looked to have everything in control. But for some reason the Dolphins decided to get away from playing mistake free football and turned the ball over twice in the 4th Qtr. The first came midway thru the Qtr when Tannehill did not wait for his receiver to clear the underneath LB and threw and pick. This lead to a Buffalo score and cut the lead to 28-17. With about a minute to play the Dolphins looking to run out the clock with the Bills out of timeouts fumbled and Buffalo recovered. The Bills quickly moved down field to score and the 2 point conversion made it 28-25d with under a minute to go. But the onside kick was recovered by the Dolphins and Miami held on for the win.
    Coaches Key's to the Win
MJD rushing for 136 yards on 20 carries
    4 Sacks of Kyle Orton

    Detroit 31 - Tampa Bay 28
Megatron has been coming on as of late and this week was no different. Hauling in 7 receptions for over 140 yards and 2 TD's, Calvin was no match for the Tampa secondary.
Matthew Stafford seems to be gelling well with the new leadership too, as his reads are significantly improving and his results are evidence... Over 350 yards, 3 TD's and 1 INT.
    Good game BG
