Sorry I didn't get this thread up last night when I advanced. I have no time to do spreads for user game this week, unless Oshiomogho wants to take a shot at the games that haven't been played. Good luck fellas.

I just did my recruiting so I'm done. I don't get on the boards much on the weekend or much at night. You'll notice I mainly only post during the day on weekdays. This board alleviates my boredom at work.

I appreciate your concern.... And I think that game summaries should go in that week's thread. Not in a game summary thread. Where's the fun in that? Nobody checks that. If you had posted that in the week thread, it could've spurned a lot more animosity and in turn, more content. The most content will always be driven by emotions, things people get emotional about. And I was plenty angry about that game. Even in 4-4, my team couldn't stop the damn run. We couldn't tackle and we looked slow. It was bad all around. Offensively, you took me right out of my game plan so kudos to you there.

I read them. Keeping them in one thread makes it easier than opening a bunch of different week threads.

    Iowa Holds on for Win!

Iowa holds on for 17-14 win today in Iowa City over the visiting Wake Forest Demon Decons. It was a game in which the Decons made 3 costly turnovers and the Hawkeyes took advantage. Iowa built a 14 point lead only to watch Wake tie the game up in the 4th. Wake forced a punt from a stagnent Iowa offense and then Wake OB Tanner Price threw a slant pass out in front of his WR and watched as the Iowa CB jumped the route and took over the ball with 3 min left in the game. Iowa settled for a FG and had to watch as the Demons still had a chance with 2 min left in the game. Price overthrew a Wide Open WR on a go route (get some touch man) GG Kasper had fun

LOL thats how the game went for Kasper his WR had T-Rex arms

See fuzzyl0gic this is what I'm talking about. Now we can all joyfully share in the loss for Kasper and it's fun for all...except maybe Kasper.

No, I just accepted it. My team isn't very good lol. I lost a lot of talent on defense and my OLine.

mcyork is the get some touch at me or my QB? I tossed it fairly lightly I thought, but didn't wanna put too much air under it and watch your guy catch up or throw it around the back of the endzone.

    UNC OUTLAST MICHIGAN
    [IMG]
While most of the spotlight may have been on the GT vs UW game this week, a brutal battle between two top ten teams was brewing in Michigan. This started off slow, with Michigan getting the ball first and they were quickly forced to punt. North Carolina couldn't do much either, and played it too conservatively with three straight runs that yielded a 3-and-out. On the ensuing drive, Michigan managed to kick a FG to gain the lead.
The Tar Heels fought there way on the board with a 17 yard TD rush by none other than star HB Giovanni Bernard. The defense forced another punt, and UNC was able to drive down the field once more and land a FG. The Carolina defense once again forced a 4th down with about 17 seconds to go in the half, and forced the Wolverines to punt. Disaster struck on first down; UNC was trying to play it conservative with a screen pass, but a Michigan DE was able to intercept the pass. On the very next play, Denard Robinson found a wide open Matt Herron for a 9 yd TD pass. Instead of going into the half with a 7 point lead, Carolina let it slip to a 10-10 game.
In the third quarter, both QBs added another TD pass to their stats. It was a 17-17 game going into the 4th. As UNC was driving it down the field in the 4th, they were smashing the Michigan defense with a lot of runs. On a 3rd and short, Michigan blitzed a safety to contain the run, but Renner got the pass off in time to evade the blitz, and connected with a wide open WR Jheranie Boyd who took it to the house for a 42 yard TD reception. Denard Robinson marched his team right down the field with ease, and threw another short TD pass. Once again the game was tied, 24-24. Carolina was able to convert first downs and drain the clock out as they made their last drive down the field. They kicked a FG leaving Michigan with not enough time to come back. Carolina wins a close one 27-24.
    Great game Philstyle3005
