    GRONK...PFFT
Rob Gronkowski and the Patriots fail in their attempt to beat Dallas, 34-24.
The Patriots failed to eat their pre game meal..
The Dallas Cowboys came into today's game after a tough loss to the St.Louis Rams last week. QB Tanner Hurns was great versus the Patriots defense throwing for over 240 yards and 3 touchdowns. But the biggest story of the game was the Dallas Cowboy defense. Not only did they force 4 interceptions, but they forced 2 fumbles that they didn't recover and they sacked Tom Brady 7 times. The biggest star of the game was LOLB Anthony Spencer who got 4 sacks on the afternoon. The defense was able to stop the almighty Gronk on the field, but he was his normal Gronk self..by teabagging Coach Reb in the postgame. The Patriots HC was not available for an immediate response.

Small Man Has Big Game In Carolina
Mike Thomas Helps Lead Jags to 48-7 Victory Over Panthers
Charlotte, NC - A balanced attack on the ground and through the air proved to be too much for the CPU Panthers. Combined with a dominant defensive performance, there was nothing that Carolina could do. Rookie QB Jordan Mapa threw for 300 yards and 3 TDs, WR Mike Thomas had 8 catches for 157 yards and a TD, and rookie RBs DeRay Ray and Tobias Bray combined for 115 yards and 2 TDs. Defensively, the Jags held the Panthers to just 139 yards.

    FALCONS SURPRISE NEW ORLEANS
Beat previous unbeaten Saints in Atlanta 28-24
    [IMG]
    - The Falcons, coming off there first win of the season against the Cardinals, looked determined to knock off the division leader Saints at home. The fans showed up to be a very big difference as the place was wild for all 4 quarters. A couple of mistakes by Drew Brees turned out to be costly as Atlanta ended up winning a close one 28-24, making their record 2-2 going into next weeks game against BigSmooth33 and the Eagles.
    - Matt Ryan had a brilliant game going 16-20 for 250 yards and 4 TD's with the only mistake being an interception in the first quarter
    - Michael Turner ran the ball 21 times for 55 yards and caught 4 passes for 53
    - Julio Jones had 4 receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown
    - Offseason pickup Visanthe Shiancoe, who is filling in for the surprise retirement from Tony Gonzalez, had a great day. He caught 4 passes for 47 yards and 2 TD
    - James Jones also caught a 15 yard TD pass which was his only catch of the game
    - The Defense played great. Omar Gaither led them with 10 solo tackles and 2 of those being for loss. Thomas Decoud had 7 tackles and 1 for loss. Cedric Griffin and Ray Edwards both had interceptions in the game.

The 49ers came into Baltimore against a tough Ravens team and slugged it out to their 4th victory on the strength of their defense. The Niners opened up the scoring with a TD on their 2nd drive after each team threw an INT. Baltimore would answer with a FG, then later in the half get a TD to take the lead 10-7. But before the half would end, the Niners would tie it up at 10. In the second half, the defenses would turn it up as there was hardly any ball movement, but the Niners broke the tie in the 4th with a TD run by Harold Barnes. Later in the quarter, Baltimore would make a costly mistake and throw the ball to Chris Culliver, who picked it off and returned it for a Niner TD to put the Niners up 24-10, and put the game basically out of reach. The Ravens would put together another drive, but would throw another INT near the goalline and the Niners would run out the clock from there.
    Stats:
    Kaepernick - 182 yards 2 INT 3 carries 42 yards
    Flacco - 221 yards 1 TD 3 INT
    Gore - 18 for 61 yards 1 TD
    Barnes - 2 for 12 yards 1 TD
    Rice - 18 for 51 yards 2 catches 33 yards 1 TD
    V. Davis - 5 for 85 yards
    Boldin - 8 for 84 yards

Washington Redskins 26, New York Giants 21
In a game they admittedly shouldn't have won, the Redskins pulled one out late in New York. Robert Griffin III struggled early with his accuracy, but threw a 74 yard strike to Leonard Hankerson late in the fourth quarter that would be the winning score for the Skins. Washington could not get much going on the ground, but Evan Royster busted out a 35 yard run that was a pivital play late in the game. Eli Manning struggled, completing only 54% of his passes, but still threw 3 touchdowns, two to Adrien Robinson and one to Hakeem Nicks. Washington will take on Miami next week in hopes of sole posession of first place in the NFCEast. Great game Cimmy24

Miami traveled to Buffalo to face the Bills and their new head coach LLCoolGrey. Miami used a balance attack (280 yards passing and 194 yards rushing) to help propel the Dolphins past the Bills. The Miami defense continued their stingy ways as they held the Bills to 20 yards rushing on the day. The Miami secondary played well again as they picked off the Buffalo QB 3 times. On offense Lamar Miller and Marice Jones-Drew both each had a good day running the ball as Miller rushed for 98 yards and Jones-Drew rushed for 86 yards. With the win Miami improves their record to 2-3 and more importantly to 2-0 in the AFC East.
Good Game LLCoolGrey and welcome to HK and the AFC East. Look forward to many more great battles with you.
