LET'S GET IT!
Buckeyes improve to 3-0, beat TCU 35-7
After an ugly start that included an INT and a fumble, OSU tightened it up on both side of the ball and beat TCU 35-7. TCU actually took a 7-3 halftime lead and still led 7-6 until very late in the 3rd when Braxton Miller threw a beautiful pass to Chris Fields. A 2pt conversion gave OSU a 14-7 lead after 3. The Buckeyes dominated the 4th as Christian Bryant picked off a pass and returned it 40 yds for a TD. Chris Fields caught his 2nd touchdown with just over a minute left in the 4th and then Orhian Johnson jumped a quick route for the Bucks' second pick 6 to make the score look much more like a blowout tha it really was.
The Buckeyes D again was stout and held Casey Pachall to 3-12 passing for 21 yds.
Braxton Miller 12-20 114 yds 2 TD
Jamaal Berry 25 rushes 144 yds
Michigan 24, Arizona State 21
Oregon 38 Nebraska 17
LaMichael James rushed for 224 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Ducks over the 'Huskers. Oregon lost their starting QB for the game in the first quarter. His replacement started off with a TD pass, but was benched at the half due after being unable to move the chains. 3rd string QB Daryle Hawkins came in and went 5-5 97 yards and 2 TDs. The big story of the day was the turnover battle, which the Ducks won 3-0. Two in the interceptions came in the 4th quarter effectively end the 'Huskers comeback bid. Nebraska Soph HB Aaron Green ran for 111 yards and 1 TD showing why he'll be a force for the next three years.
Next up for the Ducks:The Ducks face a pissed off Arizona State team...Oregon needs to have another turnover free game or else it could get ugly.
