Monday night around 11 EST is the most likely scenario for Jes and I, but there is a possibility of a Sunday late night game.

Jman, slightly went over the scoring limit. Couldn't help it, North Texas was terrible. Wasn't running up the stats, I had my backups in midway through the 3rd.

NM State Beats New Mexico, 24-17

LAS CRUCES - The Aggies took advantage of six Lobos turnovers to come back and win a big rivalry game.

New Mexico State drew first blood as the Aggies stopped New Mexico on 4th and short and scored on a 35 yd TD pass from Tanner Rust to Austin Franklin to go up 7-0. Then the Lobos dominated for a while, scoring on a 29 yard pass from Caleb Wright to Lamaar Thomas to tie the game. A 21 yd TD pass from Wright to Quintell Solomon made the score 14-7 New Mexico. A late INT turned into a FG and UNM went into the locker room up 17-7.

The domination looked like it would continue as UNM got the ball first and drove all the way to the NMSU 2 yard line, but Caleb Wright was sacked and fumbled, and DT Tommy Stuart scooped and scored to cut the score to 17-14.

"That was the play of the game right there. A 14 point swing," coach GatorJes said. NMSU rode the momentum and turned another INT into a game tying field goal heading into the 4th quarter.

On the first play in the 4th, Tanner Rust completed a play action pass to Darrius Preston for a 26 yd TD to take the lead 24-17. Some good defense and timely 3rd down conversions iced the game for the Aggies.

NMSU OPG: Darrius Preston- 3 rec, 89 yds, 1 TD
NMSU DPG: Tommy Stuart - 88 yd Fum Rec for TD, 7 Total Tackles, 1.5 sacks

UNM OPG: Kasey Carrier - 23 carries, 128 yards, 14 yds rec
UNM DPG: Emmanuel McPherson - 1 INT, 5 Total Tackles, 1 Defl
