The Legacy has reached week 7 of the 2013 season and much has yet to be decided. Below are the current user team power rankings. 1. Washington 7-0 (5-0) Wick36 Washington has user wins @ Illinois, #23 UCLA, and @ #16 Arizona St. They also have wins @ #14 USC , #20 Oklahoma, and #8 Utah. The only games stopping the Huskies from another undefeated regular season are @Oregon and hosting gwill 's North Carolina squad. 2. Georgia Tech 6-0 (4-0) RyanC Georgia Tech has been rolling through the ACC this year on the power of their read option game. They are 2-0 in user games, defeating Northwestern at home 49-28 and winning @ North Carolina 38-35 in one of the best user games of the year. They also have early season wins against #25 Texas A & M and #24 Virginia Tech. The difficult part of the Yellow Jackets schedule is coming up with games @ Colorado, Florida St, @ Maryland, @ Clemson, and home against #5 Georgia. 3. Virginia 6-0 (3-0) Will Atkinson Virginia is having a great season, winning all the close games. The Cavaliers are 2-0 in user games, with wins against Colorado and @ #21 North Carolina. They avoid playing Georgia Tech in the regular season and the game against Northwestern, which could have been a stumbling block, is no longer a user game. Next week's game @ Maryland will probably be the biggest of the season. Then the Cavaliers have 3 weeks of tune up games for the final two games at home against #22 Miami and #24 Virginia Tech. 4. Iowa 6-1 (4-1) tmac6412 Iowa had to start the year with 3 difficult user games, including a conference user game in week 1 against PIG BOMB's tough MSU squad. Week 1 resulted in a 31-24 OT loss at the hands of the Spartans. However, the Hawkeyes were able to regain their composure and defeat 2 straight ACC foes, winning 16-3 against Maryland and 24-20 @ North Carolina. The Hawkeyes also defeated #10 Wisconsin 7-0 in the battle for the bronze pig. The rest of the schedule will be manageable for Iowa. The biggest test will be a user game next week against Illinois. But, they have Penn State, Michigan, and rival Iowa State at home to finish the season. 5. Colorado 5-1 (4-0) uncleho Colorado is currently facing the difficult stretch of its schedule. But, it started off great with a huge win against #7 Oregon in Boulder. In its only user game, Colorado lost a close game to Virginia 20-13 in a game decided in the fourth quarter. They also have a big conference win @ Stanford on the resume. #3 Georgia Tech is next on the schedule for the Buffs in a game that will help determine next week's power rankings. That game is followed with another user home game against #23 UCLA. Colorado travels to #16 Arizona St and finishes at home against #8 Utah to end the year. 6. Illinois 5-1 (3-0) Bl0ndeRedHead The Illini drew the short straw, playing defending national champions Washington in the first game of the season. However, they handled the game well, only losing 17-10. That win gave the Illini momentum into the rest of the season. Illinois posted big wins @Oklahoma St and against Michigan on their way to a great first half of the season. The biggest victory to date, was a huge performance against Michigan St, which moved them to 3-0 in conference. Next week, Illinois plays @Iowa (#4 in the user rankings) in a huge battle for conference supremacy. The big win against the Spartans was at home, but we will have to see how Illinois reacts to a game in front of the rabid fans in Kinnick Stadium. Illinois still has Penn State, Ohio State, and @ #10 Wisconsin on the schedule. 7. Arizona St 4-2 (1-2) The Sun Devils started the year slowly, with a conference loss @ Stanford, then reeled off 4 straight wins before losing to #1 Washington 28-17 at home. Sandwiched in between those games were huge wins @Maryland and at home against previously #1 Notre Dame. The rest of the schedule will be a challenge for ASU, with games against #7 Oregon, @ #23 UCLA, Colorado, and @ Arizona still on the schedule. UCLA and Colorado are back to back games and will definitely shake up the user power rankings. 8. Maryland 4-2 (2-0) HovaTheGodMC Maryland had 2 tough out of conference losses against users (@Iowa, Arizona St) in the first half of the year, but are still undefeated in conference play. They have a huge game next week against #3 in the user rankings, Virginia, which should help determine the ACC picture. The winner should have an inside track to the ACC Championship game. After facing Virginia, the Terps still have tough conference games Clemson, #2 user rated Georgia Tech, and @ Florida St. 9. North Carolina 3-4 (2-2) gwill North Carolina had one of the toughest schedules out of the gate, with 5 of their first 7 games against ranked teams. All four of their losses have been extremely close: by 3 @ #4 Alabama, by 4 against #15 Iowa, by 3 @ #3 Georgia Tech, and by 6 against #9 Virginia. They have wins against #19 South Carolina and against Clemson on the resume. The schedule does not get much easier in the immediate future, when they play @Virginia Tech, @ #1 Washington, and @ #22 Miami. North Carolina needs to win one of those to become bowl eligible. 10. Michigan St 3-4 (2-2) PIG BOMB The Spartans have been the most jekyll & hyde team on this list. They started the year with a huge OT win against Iowa, then dropped 3 straight games (Western Mich, @ Notre Dame, and Wisconsin). MSU finished their season 3-1 in user games, with wins against Iowa, Northwestern, and @ #23 UCLA and a big loss @ Illinois, where the defense imploded and allowed 59 points. Sparty has games @ Michigan, @ Ohio St, and @ Nebraska coming up. Those games will have huge implications on where MSU goes bowling or if they go bowling at all. 11. UCLA 3-2 (1-1) MoonBBad UCLA has the smallest amount of games in, so it is difficult to judge their body of work. The Bruins suffered losses in both user games (@ #1 Washington, #17 Michigan St) in back to back weeks. But, they also defeated #7 Oregon in Autzen Stadium 34-25. The biggest game of the year for UCLA will be the Colorado game. The winner of that game should have the inside track to play Washington in the Pac-12 title game. The Bruins also have games coming up @ #8 Utah, #16 Arizona St, #14 USC, and Stanford to close out the season.
