Hi guys, since Masler is running the MVP race, I'll add something - the Freshman of the Year award! Submit your best Freshman for consideration. I'll compile the submissions through bowl season and then open it up to voting after the National Championship.

    Here is Auburn's nominee:

61% completion percentage and the Auburn single season passing record as a true Freshman playing some VERY tough road games in the SEC. He'll be looking to build on that success in a spread offense next season.

Here are his user game stats (I'll update later):

    vs. Texas:

    @ Alabama:

Another guy that throws to the other team as much as his own.

He's a freshman though... and honestly, his first half was as amazing as his second half was bad. I'm hoping that his second half will serve as the sophomore slump.

I don't believe UF had any freshman playing this season.

I'd like to point out that my frosh WR Marc Williams was listed as a CB when recruited, but his ratings turned out to be about 10 points higher as a WR. He has the best hands on my team ratings wise and is the #3 WR/Slot guy.

The 2012 Experience Freshman of the Year

Brian Dixon - QB - University of Miami Hurricanes

Dixon's great Freshman campaign did not go unnoticed by the league constituents as he received 10 first place votes! Dixon's explosiveness in the running game coupled with his developing passing ability has coaches across the nation (especially in South Carolina and Florida!) gameplanning for his sophomore season already. Dixon will look to build on his freshman success by taking his team to the next step and winning the ACC Championship, something that he almost did as a freshman.

Congratulations to Coach Hova and Brian Dixon!
