Jags Win Final Home Game of the Season After a rather crappy start to the game, the Jags pull out the win, beating the Patriots 14-33. The game started with the Patriots' offense doing what they wanted to early on. First a long run by Ridley then a long drive that ended with Ridley TD. Jacksonville finally put a drive together that didn't end with a FG before the half ended. The second half was all Jaguars. Head Coach Gus Bradley told reporters that he went out of character and lit into his team. One player said that he actually hear his Head Coach curse for the first time this season. MJD said that Gus just basically said for the team stop the bullsh*t and play ball. They did just that. MJD and WR Ace Sanders seemed to be the bright sports on offense. Alualu in the second half just reeked havoc on the Mallet, with his last sack putting him out of the game. Sanders, meanwhile had to leave the game with broken ribs and will be out 3 weeks. That means that Denard will thrust back into the slot WR position. With two games left to go, the Jaguars look to finish the season on a positive note with wins against the Jets next week and the season finale against the red hot Colts.
Panthers get first win under new ownership , stop 7 game slide in Green Bay ! Panthers 12 Packers 7 Defensive battle that only witnessed one touchdown all day. Not sure if this was a case of both defensive units showing up to play or just bad offense from both team. Packers rookie lineman Corbin Berg is easy choice for player of the game despite his team coming up short. Berg had 9 tackles on the day including 3 sacks and a forced fumble. Panthers got a good effort from Beanie Wells was signed in the middle of the week after injuries left Carolina with only one healthy back. Wells ended up with 48 yards on 7 carries , with 3 broken tackles. Good game wayers50
