FA is in the books and season 3 is open. Take this time now to process your trades before playing your week 1 games.

Still drives me nuts that the depth chart ratings are so different from their actual ratings...

So, I forgot to grab a back-up center while FA bidding was open...want to sign David Baas as my back-up, how do I do this before my game, which I'm guessing the game won't let me play before I sign one.

That drives me insane. Too much work...
I also had to make it so Avril wasn't starting at 3 positions.

Brutal losses... At least a QB didn't go 14-14 on you in the playoffs...

Which ratings should I go off of? Don't know if the game is right of XFN.

Alright, trying to get my game in. I only have 3 guards, will I need to add one before it lets me play?

Lions open the season with an OT win over the Green Bay Packers

After a defense dominated first half ended 3-3, the defenses continued to control the game. With Detroit scoring on a short run by Mikel LeShoure, Green Bay came back with a 78 yard bomb to Randall Cobb to end the third quarter, taking a 3 point lead after opening the half with a field goal. The only scoring seen in the fourth was a short field goal by Jeff Reed (with a RIDICULOUS play by Kilgo to make a catch on a deflected pass on 3rd down earlier in the drive).

The Lions won the toss in overtime, and after completing a pass on 3rd and 11 to Calvin Johnson, the run game took over. The Packers defense could not stop the run in overtime, and the two headed combo of Best and LeShoure ran down the field, and ended the game on a 25 yard TD run by Jahvid Best. Lions win, 19-13.

Won my first game but Madden felt it necessary to take the cornerstone of my defense out for 8 weeks, Demarcus Ware (Overall 99)... Almost every injury is a broken collarbone for some reason.

The Browns came away with a win against the Dolphins in Miami despite a very lackluster performance from Colt McCoy. He finished with a 12 QB Rating and 3 interceptions, 0 touchdowns.

Defense dominated the first half, and the Browns were able to finish the half with a 13-6 lead thanks to an interception returned for a touchdown by veteran middle linebacker Barrett Ruud, who was the player of the game also finishing with 3 tackles and a sack.

Joe Haden also had a pick that set up a field goal.

The Browns lost wide receiver Greg Little for four weeks, adding to their woes at wide receiver. Rashad Snow will get the call barring any trade to try and fill the void. The physically gifted receiver will need to work on his route running to be effective. Veteran Josh Cribbs failed to capitalize on an increase in playing time, finishing with 2 drops and only 1 catch.

The Browns take on the Chiefs at home next week, and hope for a much better performance from Colt McCoy.

    For you and Roggie

Can you move these into the Season 3 recaps thread? I appreciate the write ups, just trying to do a little cleanup
