The Razorbacks enter the 2012 season with high expectations. After finishing last season ranked #2 in the final polls, Arkansas open the 2012 season as the #2 ranked team in the country. The Razorbacks will be lead on offense by HB Knile Davis and the QB tandem of Brandon Mitchell and Tyler Wilson. The main question mark on offense will center around the receiving corps as Arkansas lost its top 3 WR's but they return several quality but inexperienced receivers. On Defense the Razorbacks will be young at LB and will look for a veteran group of D-lineman and D-Backs to pick up the slack for the young LBs. The schedule will be the on wild card for the Razorbacks this season as they face 5 preseason Top 25 teams. After a tune up game in week 1, in consecutive weeks Arkansas faces #20 Oregon on the road, #10 USC at home and #3 Alabama at home. Then Arkansas closes the year with home games against #22 LSU and #5 Ohio State. Depending on how the Razorbacks navigate the 3 week stretch at the beginning of the year, this could end up being a very special season in Hawg land.
