The Razorbacks enter the 2012 season with high expectations. After finishing last season ranked #2 in the final polls, Arkansas open the 2012 season as the #2 ranked team in the country. The Razorbacks will be lead on offense by HB Knile Davis and the QB tandem of Brandon Mitchell and Tyler Wilson. The main question mark on offense will center around the receiving corps as Arkansas lost its top 3 WR's but they return several quality but inexperienced receivers. On Defense the Razorbacks will be young at LB and will look for a veteran group of D-lineman and D-Backs to pick up the slack for the young LBs.

The schedule will be the on wild card for the Razorbacks this season as they face 5 preseason Top 25 teams. After a tune up game in week 1, in consecutive weeks Arkansas faces #20 Oregon on the road, #10 USC at home and #3 Alabama at home. Then Arkansas closes the year with home games against #22 LSU and #5 Ohio State. Depending on how the Razorbacks navigate the 3 week stretch at the beginning of the year, this could end up being a very special season in Hawg land.

Bama Returns Many Starters from last year, The one glowing minus is Trent Richardson as he Bolted for the NFL. Eddie Lacy returns as he will take the reigns this yr. The O-Line has to replace the C position with some young talent but the others are Veterans. Deandrew White (teams leading reciever) had 918 yrds last yr and hopes to capitalize on the Opportunity moving from #3 to #1 Wr. A new playbook has the team working hard this past spring as the Crimson Rolled the White Team 33-10, in the annual A-Day Game.

On Defense Many starters and Vets return, Big Test is the 2ndary as they have 3 sr's and the rest are underclassman. upfront the Line and LB'rs are very strong. Hightower patrols the Middle with Nico Johnson and secures the Lb position. Shelley returns as the K But Foster proved to be very strong this spring he might start over the Sr. and Mandell returns as the Punter His position is Safe.

CB is 21-6 over 2 yrs and has excelled in the expectations of the Crowd but not of himself. "We should be doing better Then 21-6. We have to play better in every game this yr. The SEC Champ gm taught me we can not take it easy for any quarter. Get ready for the Tide in 2012".

The Ducks ended last season on a bit of a down note after losing big to UF and USC and losing a squeaker to Arkansas. Things are looking up however as most of the offense returns including QB Darron Thomas. There has also been a lot of buzz about JUCO WR Lionel Grey who at 6'3" and 95 spd should be able to stretch the field. The much maligned defense had a year to mature and should be much improved. Coach Slim said "We had to play a bunch of young guys on the Dline and in the secondary and it really hurt us down the stretch. I'm excited to have a fast squad that should be able to bring a lot more pressure. I take a lot of pride in my defense and last year was tough to struggle through"

    Players to Watch
    QB Darron Thomas
    WR Keanon Lowe
    CB Cliff Harris
    SS Erik Dargan

    Newcomers to Watch
    WR Lionel Gray
    DE Marques Bass

The Buckeyes look to have all the weapons on offense to make a run for the title, On the defensive side there is some questions and depth is one of them as The BUcks lack any decent back ups at Linebacker, The secondary looks great led by SS CJ Barnett and the D-Line should be strong up the middle with a talented group of DT's led by Senior All-American John Simon. On the offensive side of the ball the problem is, is there enough touches for all the weapons. The stable of HB's is set for years to come led by two Juniors Jaamal Berry and Jordan Hall while the WR core not having a lot of depth does have a lot of young Talent. The only real question mark on the offense is an important one, Quarterback, With Terrelle Pryor gone to the NFL, Ken Guiton gets his chance to start, Guiton a Redshirt Junior has good mobility and a decent arm and is going to have to make plays for this BUckeye team, if they are going to be the ones holding the crystal at the end of the year.

Coming off back to back BCS Titles the Gators have a lot to prove this year. Lost my biggest play makers from last season.Replacing guys like Brantley are very hard. Redshirt freshmen Matthew Bennett looks to fill that role as best as he can. At halfback Rainey will be missed a lot he brought so many intangibles to the team. His replacement Mike Gillisliee is fired up to take the reins.Waiting for 3 yrs is a long time and he is hungry. With a young receiving crew and a stout veteran offensive line the Gators have some positives going into the season on offense. But expectations of matching last years off is a far reach. The Gators defense is all back but 3 players .With some key recruits backing them up and Evans a veteran safety taking over for will Hill and Omar Hunter replacing Howard the D is hungry to prove themselves this season.

I'm hoping for a 10 win season and a trip to the Big Ten Championship Game. Most important games are vs Ohio State, @ Nebraska, @ Florida. Weakest position is probably receiver as I lost my top 5 from last season (4 seniors and a junior). Offensive line will be a strength. Defense seems solid but not anything amazing. Should be interesting.

Yep. I'm running a 2/3, 1/3 split with him and Devin Gardner. Denard is 95 ovr, 99 spd, 99 agi, 99 acc while Gardner (only a sophomore) is 92 ovr, 92 spd, 91 agi, 96 acc.

The Auburn Tigers enter 2012 session with a new head coach and a hunger to build a Dy"nasty" here in GG football.

    Offense:
Finally emerging out from under the shadow of Cam Newton steps Barrett Trotter to lead the offense that is toped off with a dynamic duo at HB with VT transfer SR. Ryan Williams and and JR. Mike Dyer leading the punishing ground game of the Tigers. Problems arise at the depth of the OL with only 3 T's, G's and C's on the roster and only one Senior in the group the O'line is suspect and the RB's better be up for the challange because they will carry the rock alot. WR is solid and upperclassmen heavy. Possibly the top TE in the county returns in Phillip Lutzin...

    "D":
Is lead by JR DE Nosa Enuga and the talanted and deep DL and SR OLB Darren Bates and Jonathan Evans. The secondary should be stingy as it is bosting 2 JR and 2 SR at CB and a returing SR at SS. Look for hard hittin punishing D that makes the other team want to quit!

The Tigers open up at home unranked against #15 TCU. In week 6 things start to thicken up a little as #2 ranked Hogs and yes we eat swine no musslium come to town and in week 9 the tigers go down to the swamp to meet with the 2 time defending champs the gators and we here in Auburn love us some Gator meat! If the Tigers pull through this part of the season un scafed the will have to head to Bama and Ugene Oregon to finish off the season. This is a mighty task for the 1st year head coach and his Tigers stay tuned for more breaking news form the Tigers Camp!

Who will emerge as the Heisman favorite> Dyer or Williams?
