Looks like this will be a pretty defensive class for me. Only looks like I have 1 solid O-Lineman locked up. Right now we're dropping out on :5stars: tight end Chris Robertson that Alabama and Georgia Tech are fighting for. He's more of a receiving TE but we still may use our lock-pick in a few weeks. Most of our early recruiting points will be used on defense and hopefully we can get some quick commitments. SatansAngel1104 is definitely my #1 recruiting rival right now.

I have a decent class developing for whatever CPU coordinator is coaching LSU next year.

FSU beats Florida for 2 CBs
:4stars:Geoff Rodgers, 5'10" 168, Ohio. He's fast, below average tackler, and pretty good in coverage. 78 (+2)
:4stars:Caleb Sims, 5'10" 190, Georgia. Good speed, average tackler, and good in coverage. 78 (+4) we slightly like him more for his zone coverage rating.

We would have been happy just signing one of these guys, it's also nice to take talent away from our main rival. Good pickups for 4-2-5 depth in the defensive backfield.

First three signings for Notre Dame, all gems

:4stars: TE John Banks - 78 OVR (+5) - The guy has TE size, WR speed, and HB running ability. A future star who can contribute at multiple positions
:4stars: ATH Kyle Russell - 77 OVR (+6) - an athletic QB in the making. Needs time to develop his arm. Could also play in the secondary
:4stars: WR Harvey Brown - 79 OVR (+8) - has very good speed, runs nice routes, is a nice addition to a growing stable of wideouts

    FSU gets 3rd commit:
:5stars: DT Brian Kilpatrick 77 (-2). Another solid addition to the defense, this time from California. He's pretty good, I don't really know what to look for in DT's. That follows the 2 4-star corners we got the other week in what should be a very solid defensive class.

Two more commits from the Irish....

:5stars: ATH Chuck Moss - 76 OVR (-1) - At 6'6 and 232 pounds with 93 jumping, this guy could be a special WR.
:4stars: MLB Brock Sullivan - 78 OVR (+1) - With 85 speed, 90 block shedding and coverage in the 70's he could be a force in the middle in a couple years

Alabama gets it's first commit of the year

:4stars:OLB Tony Holland (81 OVR). OLB was a need and this guy is a good one. He's big (6'6, 239 lbs), fast (85 SPD, 91 ACC) and has the cover skills of a CB (83 man, 85 zone). With the lack of depth and possible early departures this guy could start day 1 next season.

Whoa I missed that guy, should've made him my untouchable recruit. My LB class should be pretty solid if we get who we want, got the lead on an 80, 79, and 78 overall LBs. How's his tackling and block shedding?

77 Tackling, 74 Block shedding. So he's got to work on that

He was a plus 5 after recruiting. Nobody else was after him so I gladly took him

    First Recruits for VTech

    Chuck Lamb - DT (#14) :4stars:

Chuck is a good athlete with good strength that should be able to penetrate into the backfield consistently (76 OVR).
    upload_2013-10-8_17-59-4.png
    DJ Floyd - T (#7) :4stars:
DJ is a capable blocker, but will need to improve his strength in order to be successful. Nevertheless, he will provide great depth as he will not be needed to contribute immediately (72 OVR).
    upload_2013-10-8_18-2-20.png
    Pete Austin - HB (#8) :4stars:
With the departure of Anderson and Robinson, Austin could be the next star of the Hokie running game. He's got great speed, but will need to work on his running inside the tackles (75 OVR).
    upload_2013-10-8_18-6-18.png
    Luke Alford - TE (#73) :3stars:
With only one scholarship TE returning, the Hokies needed bodies at the position. Luke doesn't do anything outstanding, but he is a capable blocker which fits right into the Hokies' offensive scheme (69 OVR).
