I'd like to play some as well. I think I'm going to get Wigan, so getting used to them would help. I'll be around all evening.
Maybe it's a personal thing, but I'm kind of disappointed about the lack of headsets thus far. It's kind of dull just playing a game and exchanging "GG's" afterward. I don't know if they are mandatory, but it would be nice if more people wore one when playing.
electrickeeper Do you see it as something beneficial to the game? Or is it just a social thing? Because I find them distracting personally. Feel like a right muppet when i need to wear one. I'd be willing to throw one on though during our matches. I don't talk much though. Too focused on the match. The most you'll get is a slew of curse-words. lol
Me too, I'll have them on but I won't talk much cause I find it distracting. Plus, its too late in here and im a loud talker lol so im afraid to wake up my gf
I find it beneficial when guys (not that I've witnessed in this league) decide to play cheesy. There's also a social aspect to it, I suppose. I guess all of the leagues I ran required a mic and at least a simple 'hello,' so maybe it's just something I'm not used to. Just my $0.02, carry on.
Actually, after playing a league game last night, it dawned on me that the headset might actually be a good idea. I forgot to turn my notifications off during gameplay and a few people started battering me with messages. So at half-time i rushed to check a message without realizing that it was actually a match invite. So the fact that i was actually in chat with my opponent at the time made it easy to explain what happened. The headset potentially saved some hassle. Overall, it's more a level of discomfort to me. Talking to someone i really don't know. But you get used to it.
Oh hell yeah! Lol. Last time playings club, someone was talking about European girls or something like that... I think I've said "Yeah, there are some nice girls here" "(referring to German girls). Next day, first question of the day "Who are the nice girls" HA HA HA HA! Funny she can hear that from the other room, while sleeping lol.
We're ending season 3, going to begin season 4 in a few weeks I believe so you can probably join for that. Just don't give yourself too many commitments where you get behind in one of the leagues
Yeah but he also lives in Spain which means his times won't match up well with our's so it may not be as cut and dry as that. 5 matches might be a bit much with the time difference
Michael, you might have a point there, for a moment I forgot time differences. I'll stick to the transfer league and if I see I can handle more games, I'll come back here and shout again
