Season 3 - Week 11 Scores
One user game - Notre Dame vs USF.
We will advance Tuesday night.
Nebraska 45 - Kansas State 21
Lester Ward is red hot right now, and he had his most dominating performance of the season against rival K State. 43 carries for 217 yards and 4 td's. As a team we ran for 280 on them.
Next up is Colorado to finish up conference play. I believe this win clinched a spot in the Big 12 title game. If not beating Colorado will.
#5 LSU - 51
#25 Bama - 24
LSU wins a tough game down in Tuscaloosa against the Crimson Tide. Alabama hit harder than any team I have ever played and as a result, LSU coughed up the rock 4 times. Cause for further concern was the Alabama secondary, which did a real good job at covering the receivers. Because of this, LSU turned to the run game and had a big day on the ground. Mike Ford ran 31 times for 142 yards and 3 TDs. Russell Sheppard ran 15 times for 209 yards and 3 scores. On the other side of the ball, LSU focused on Mark Ingram and made Star Jackson beat them. Jackson failed to do so, completing 8 of 16 passes for 113 yards. Ingram, the focal point of the LSU defense, ran for only 57 yards on 18 carries.
TCU comes to Oklahoma and gets handled by the Sooners 59-14. TCU had no answer for the ground or air attack of the mighty Sooners. Jones threw for 376 yards and 3 TD's, Miller caught 6 for 210 yards and a TD, and Calhoun ran for 170 yards and 3 TD's.
Notre Dame beats USF 41-27. Key play of the game was a 4th and 1 that USF attempted in the 3rd quarter with the score at 24-20 I believe. Notre Dame called a FS blitz and stuffed the back in the hole, and would outscore USF 17-7 the remainder of the game.
Player of the game was Dayne Christ who was 20-22 for over 400 yards and 4 TD.
Pittsburgh beats WVU 49-45 in the Backyard Brawl.
Texas:44 Ok St: 19
Garret Gilbert had a solid game going 17 of 31 for 287 yards, 3 tds and 2 ints. Foz was held to 27 rushes for 113 yards and a td.
