Welcome back to our next edition of (in my best Chris Berman voice) NFL PRIMETIME! I hope everyone had a great week 2. Here are our stats leaders, after Week 2's action in the GMFL! Philip Rivers is our new league passing leader, putting up HUGE numbers in his first two games, with Aaron Rodgers only 1 yard behind him. A big surprise is Kurt Warner, coming out of retirement and still slinging the rock all over the field- literally, as he is tied for #2 in picks so far. Ray Rice and Micheal Turner are on pace for a fantastic year on the ground. And tight end Jermichael Finley finds himself among the top receivers, only to be outdone by the Raiders Heyward-Bey. Now let's have another look at the rookie class' progress..... Jeffery Daniels finally lives up to all the hype, rocketing to the top of the "Sacks" leaderboard. And one of, if not the fastest corners in the league - Fred Marshall is putting QBs on notice. Don't throw over here! And last but not least, Panther's wide out Corey McCants leads all rookies in receiving yards. Now let's see how the NFL teams match up statistically..... The Eagles lead the league in total defense. While Baltimore consistently puts up big numbers on the offensive side of the ball. Now with two weeks under our belt, let's see how the teams rank...... That's it for this week's edition of PRIMETIME!!! See you on the field!
