The Bearcats finally get into the W column!!!

    Cincy 41
    #7 Tex 37

Cincy heads into Austin and delivers a shocker as they knock off the #7 longhorns at home. It was a great game that looked to be out of hand early as Texas jumped out to a two score lead early thanks to a great user strip on a punt by Twistking. Luckily, Coach KSherm steadied his troop and got them ready to rebound. The Bearcats would respond and go into halftime down 14-20.

The teams would go back and forth in the second half. UC hit a screen pass that went for nearly 80 yards that setup a go ahead score 21-20. But Texas rallied back taking the lead on another FG. The Longhorns would score again on a M. Williams 15 yd TD catch to go up 21-30. Cincy would battle back as Isiah Pead took a handoff 47 yds to paydirt to make it 28-30.

With the game on the line, it all came down to the fourth quarter. UC had the ball and Z. Collaros capped a long drive with a 3 yd TD run. Then HB I. Pead tripped on the goalline for the 2 point conversion (which was ridiculous) to make it 34-30.

Texas would return the ensuing kickoff 91 yards to go up 34-37, but there was plenty of time left as Cincy put together a clock eating drive capped off by a 5 yd run by backup D. Williams to go ahead for good 41-37.

    Notable Stats:
    Z. Collaros 23/32 335 yds 2 TDs 9 car, 35 yds, TD
    I. Pead 12 car, 72 yds, 2 TDs, 6 rec, 108 yds, TD

    G. Gilbert 20/23, 282 yds, 3 TDs
    F. Whittaker 15 car, 50 yds, 5 rec, 80 yds

Great game Twist. Good luck the rest of the way.

    UGA - 26
    UT - 29

Playing with a 2 Freshman QB's aint easy but we managed to pull one out against the Bulldogs in the final seconds. Bryce Brown scored on a yard run with 6 seconds to play to give the Vols the victory at home. QB play is defiantely going to be an issue for us this season!

    Nebraska 38 - #4 Virginia Tech 31

We were killing VT 38 - 14 in the 3rd quarter before Tech made a robo crazy comeback. The passing game was spectacular especially WR's Bell and Gilleleyan who both had big days. We lost starting RB Rex Burkhead for 3 weeks in this game, but his backup Ward came in and played decent so I think we'll be ok.

My internet went out like half way through the game but it didn't boot me from the game. I finished the game and by the time I was done my internet was back up so I logged back in and save the results....I guess it was recorded by the EA servers, but it was really weird. Hopefully it doesn't show a restart or anything. I asked Max to see my final score since he was online and I took a picture of the scoring summary just in case.

Kodi Burns was hurt on the 6th play, so soph Tyrik Rollison came in and didn't do too bad. He threw for 253 and 2 picks but also ran for 61 and a td. HB Preston Lyons ran for 117 and scored 3 times. The Tiger defense held the Gators to 266 total yards and forced 2 turnovers.

OU just got spanked by Notre Dame and Dru. Think the score was 34-9. Couldn't do a thing on offense, of course i was forced to abandon the run early on and thats a big part of my game. Defense sucked as i couldn't do anything to stop the pass or the run. GG Dru

Good game Marc, that was by far the best defensive performance that I've had with ND. The pass rush was awesome, the coverage was solid and the guys all tackled really well.

The Irish offense was again led by Dayne Christ and the passing game. He threw for over 300 yards and 4 TDs with no INTs.
