    Patriots Defeat Bills 35-28
    [IMG]
The first half ended with a score of 20-14 as the Bills defense was able to force 2 field goals in the last 2 minutes. The Bills were determined to make it a game in the second half and they sure did. Leading at one point by 8. Tom Brady wouldn't let that happen as he led the team back to a tie. The defense forced a punt and the Pats managed the game from there on out. Mainly by way of rushing. Controlling the clock and forcing the Bills to use their 3 timeouts. The Bills could not advance and turned it over on downs.
A lot of balls were dropped by the Patriots offense but they also managed to have a big day through the air. The Patriots piled on 489 yards of total offense. Tom Brady went 22-38 for 398 yards but only 2 touchdowns with 1 interception. Stevan Ridley carried 11 times for 62 yards. Delino Jones ran 6 times for 22 yards and 1 score and Shane Vereen stunk it up with 5 carries for just 7 yards but 1 touchdown. Gronkowski had 6 catches for 76 yards, Brandon Lloyd had 6 for 90 and Wes Welker grabbed 5 for 114. Rookie Marcus Hines hauled in 2 catches for 52 yards and 1 touchdown and Stevan Ridley grabbed the other TB TD.
Defensively, Jerod Mayo was a nightmare with 8 solo tackles and 4 TFL. The Pats D had 4 sacks on the day. Jake Bequette, Chandler Jones, Shaun Phillips and Jerod Mayo combined for those.

Titans win at Home 30-17 against Miami
    [IMG]
    Derrick Morgan Tallies 4 sacks
Titans come into the game fresh off the first win of the year and look to add another one. Titans would get the ball to start the game and work it right down but were held up for a FG. After a couple of drives for both teams going no where Tannehill would find open receiver A. Gibbons and he would score from 35 yards out taking the lead 7-3. Coach bouncer grew upset with Jake Locker giving him an ultimatum by saying 'we need production out of you Jake. Go be productive or I will find a QB that will be.' The drive started slow, coach told backup QB Quagleri to start warming up. This must of caught Locker's eye and on 3rd down he would hit Nolen Evans and he would cut it up field and coast to the endzone for 64 yards. Coach grew a smile and said keep it up, you're not off the hook. FG with under a minute to play for Miami would leave Locker with 3 timeouts and a lot of room to go. He would work it right down and set up a 35 yd field goal for Bironas. 3rd Quarter was all about CJ going for 2 TDs, 37 and 18 yards. Tannehill wasn't done yet, he would hook up with runningback Lamar Miller up the middle for 51 yards on a play that coach said was just poor play for defense. Bironas would hit a FG to make it a 13 point game with a minute left.
This game did have it's scoring but could of been worse if it wasn't for the defense of Tennessee Titans. Titans have been known for some D in the past couple of seasons and this game wasn't any different. Holding the rushing to just 29 yards. The runner is MJD and he just couldn't go anywhere. Passing yards were allowed and things will be worked out. Michael Griffin would get an INT late in the game and Jurrel Casey would get a sack and forced fumble to end the game. Also Derrick Morgan tallied for 4 sacks on the game and was a key reason to why Titans slowed the Miami passing.

    Sweet REVENGE!!
    Jets 29 Jags 20
In the playoff last season the Jets were defeated by the Jaguars in Jacksonville. This week the Jets rolled back into Florida looking for some Revenge. The game would come down into the 4th quarter while the Jets controlled their destiny the entire 2nd half. Both Diaz and Mapa were almost perfect while both finish with a QBR over 100 and both throwing 2 touchdowns with 0 interceptions. The Jets defense record 7 sacks on Mapa, three coming from Calvin Pace who now has 10 sacks in 4 games. The Jets go to 4-0 getting some sweet revenge on the Jags who they could meet again in the playoffs this season. GG HAL9100

Lions defeat the visiting Panthers 40-0 in a injury riddled affair for the Panthers. The Lions defense finally came to play, forcing 3 interceptions, a safety, and at least five sacks.

    Good game black.

    49ers 24 - Rams 21
The Rams came into this one without their coach, and the 49ers looked like they lost focus knowing that the Law wouldn't be on the sidelines. The Rams ran up and down the 49ers defense, with 3 running backs getting into the action, Pead had 2 for 42 and a TD, Ward had 1 for 44 and a TD, and Jackson had 20 for 137 and a TD. All of these running backs combined broke about 20-25 tackles in this one as the Niners defenders seemed to just wriggle off them. Luckily for the home team, they had an answer for each one of the Rams scores, also mostly on the ground. Frank Gore ran for 77 yards and a TD on 25 carries and LaMichael James ran for a game high 139 yards and 1 TD on 15 carries. With about 5 minutes left in the game, the Rams took the lead for the first time on Ward's TD run, at 21-17, but the Niners didn't panic, mixing up runs with some play action to keep the defense off guard and eventually Frank Gore scored a TD around the 2 minute warning to give the 49ers the winning score and beating their rival Rams.

Saints get it done again, drew brees another aerial assault topping 509 passing yards with 5 touchdowns to match. brees completed a pass to 6 different receivers, 5 of those guys found paydirt. defensively, the saints had trouble defending wr lee evans, he torched us on third downs, he ended th game with 10 catches, 193 yards and a 77 yard td reception, it was hell trying to contain this guy, peterson becomes the first rb to eclipse the 100 yard mark against the saints including a 2 scores on the ground that started when he bust a long 76 yarder right p the gut early in the game. akiem hicks was very upset. all in all saints had a solid outing but still showed many things to work on
