    Patriots beat the Cardinals 17-14

This was a match up of a good running offense versus a good running defense. Going into the game the Cardinals were averaging 167 yards rushing per game and the Patriots were giving up 96 yards rushing per game. Something had to give and it ended up being the Cardinals run game. The Patriots only gave up 79 yards rushing and made it difficult for Arizona to move the ball. The Pats defense only gave up 201 total yards.

The keys going into the game were
    -Running the Football.
    -Winning the Turnover battle
    -Special teams

The Patriots won all three phases and ended up getting the win.

They rushed for 101 to the Cardinals 79
They had 0 turnovers to the Cardinals 1
They were 3-3 on FG's with the game winner being a 44 yarder. They also had 2 punts inside the 20 and one pinning the Cardinals all the way back to their own 6.

    Key players

    1. QB Ryan Mallett did exactly what he needed to do. He was efficient and took care of the football. He also stepped up big in the forth leading the Patriots on a game winning drive. He had a TD pass and no turnovers.

    2. LB Jerod Mayo had a very good game on defense. He had 2 sacks and a few TFL. He helped the Patriots put lots of pressure on the Cardinals passing and running games.

    3. K Justin Tucker came up big going 3-3 on fg's and making a long of 52. He also was clutch with 44 yard game winner that went throw as the clock read 0. He also did a nice job of kicking it deep in the End zone to keep the Cardinals return game at bay.

Here is the game winning drive

    Good game brizz98

The Patriots are going into a bye week and have the Bills next.

    Texans - 28
    Jaguars - 7

The Texans battled their rival AFC South foes the Jaguars in Jacksonville during this week 4 matchup. The Jags got out to an early 7-0 lead mostly by pounding the rock to MJD then Tajh Boyd found Clyde Gates in the end zone for the TD. The Texans would respond with their own all pro running back in Arian Foster, who had a nice day rushing 21 times for 97 yards and 2 TD's, and he tied up the score at 7. The Texans defense took over after that, not allowing any more points to the Jags while sacking Boyd 3 times and intercepting him twice. Meanwhile, Hundley threw a screen pass to Miles Austin for a 56 yard TD and also hit Owen Daniels deep over the middle for a TD. Hundley was extremely efficient on the day, hitting 9 out of 10 on his attempts for 208 yards and 2 TD's. Arian Foster ended the scoring with a TD run in the 4th quarter giving him his 2nd on the day and sealing the win for Houston.

    Hundley - 9/10 208 yards 2TD's
    Foster - 21 for 97 yards 2 TD's
    Austin - 4 catches 102 yards 1 TD
    Daniels - 3 catches 102 yards 1 TD
    Trevardo Williams - 2 sacks
    Swearinger - 1 INT

    Boyd - 13/24 145 yards 1 TD 2 INT's
    MJD - 14 for 74 yards
