    Defense Shuts Down The Colts
This game was all defense and not much offense on either side. The only offensive score would come on a 47 yard FG by Novak. The only TD would come on a INT by Cushing his first of two INTs in the game. The defense would hold the Colts to 9 yes I said 9 rushing yards and only 137 yards total offense. The Colts would also turnover the ball 5 times which really did them in from the start.
    Final Score:

Vikings cage Jaguars 29 to 14
Adrian Peterson finally decided that he was going to play ball this year ... after the team publicly announced that Peterson was now on the trading block he went off on the Jacksonville defense for 206 rushing yards ... Tony Romo contributed by throwing for 208 yds and 2 tds and NO interceptions ... even though the Jaguarssa took the loss in this one, their young team showed strong signs of being a force in the near future ... Rookie qb Jordan Mapa on two ocassions threw up a hail mary passes to Larry Fitzgerald who came down with the ball in a crowd of defenders ... Add in Justin Blackmon who was a first down target and this team will be deadly ... gg HAL9100

    49ers 24 - Dolphins 17
The 49ers and Dolphins squared off at The Stick just before the holiday break, and the 49ers slugged it out to a 7 point victory over struggling Miami. The 49ers took an early lead in this one on a 21 yard TD pass from Kaepernick to Vernon Davis in the end zone and never looked back as they held the lead for the majority of the game. After the 49ers would build up a 2 possession lead, the Dolphins would come back on a 78 yard TD pass from Tannehill to Ogletree in the 4th quarter to make it 24-17, but the Niners would grind out the rest of the clock and come away with the victory. Kaepernick was efficient in this game going 12/20 for 162 yards and 2 TD's while Gore ran the ball 16 times for 66 yards and a TD. Tannehill went 17/30 for 265 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT, and MJD ran it 14 for 54 yards and a TD as he couldn't really get much going for the Dolphins ground game.
