GodsGiftWPS When can you play? I should be online tonight starting around 9 pm EST or so. I may have a game in T1, so it's possible that I'd have to push this one back. Let me know your thoughts.

The Parrothead I've got a 4 point lead and am at the 7 with 1:32 left in the 3rd and hog501 disconnects. I told him I'm not losing this potential 7 or 11 point lead and that we should pick up where we left off in a new game. He wants to replay from the beginning. You got a verdict you care to cast on this as commish.

For the record, it tells me YOU disconnected. I have the option to play the CPU. And explain to me how we just pick up where we left off in a new game. Play a quarter and a half and then kneel it out?

Last I checked no points are guaranteed, at 3rd down you could easily throw a pick, fumble, or miss a FG on 4th down. Not sure how you expect to "replay" from that point in the game.

Have you guys never done this? It's pretty much mandatory in The E that you just restart from that point. I haven't done it differently. It says in the rules that you get to choose between a clean restart, play on, or try and get the game back to that point. So that's why I expect it. And I know I would of gotten points.

Well at least your confidence makes sense. This isn't the "E" and I'm going to need you to explain how we just "get the game back to that point"?

It says the same for me... Weird. Gotta love EA...

Well we'd play a quarter and 1:32 and the score being 17-13 (me up 4) with the ball at the 9 with it 3rd and goal. From there we play out the remaining time. Whoever wins finishes it out (wether they sim it out or play to make sure they won). Like I said over Xbox, standard protocol here at TSO

So what's it gonna be? If we gotta discuss more, lets take it to a Pm thus not to "flame" the boards.

So we'll just "Imagine" that the score is 17-13 when we kick off? I give you a free run down to the 9, you somehow manage two plays to get 0 yards and then we play 8:32 seconds?

Yeah. I'd just take two knees once at the nine.

Get down to the 9...have 2 "Spike Downs" and play the remaining time.

So none of the injuries, fatigue, or momentum matters. That's got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. If you were blowing me out then whatever but a 4 point game and we can't even replay like gentlemen.

I'll let The Parrothead make the decision. If that's what he decides that's fine by me. Just seems like alot of headache for nothing. If we replayed when it DC'ed instead of arguing we would have probably finished by now.

Like I said. We need to discuss more, to a PM. I saw you've not been here long. I'm a seasoned vet and know the ropes. Yes momentum is gone, yes injury and the rain will be gone, but losing that lead is not gonna happen. So either we go from this point or discuss more in a PM

It's getting late now. I've got other things to do before bed and then work tomorrow 4-9 and a date afterwards. So I understand the frustration but its clearly not fair that I lose the lead plus momentum. If anything this helps you out.

But it IS clearly fair to let you run down to the 9, take two meaningless plays and then play 8:32 of meaningless football. Then what, I quit and you blow out the CPU for the remainder of the game? That sounds like a swell idea.
It is refreshing to know that we have a "seasoned vet" around to show everyone the ropes. Night.

Who said I was gonna blow out the computer... You need to chill out. Like I said. You got more to discuss, pm me. If not, drop it and make a decision.
