Notre Dame's defense returns to it's early season form, giving up 49 points to Rutgers. Thankfully, the Rutgers defense was worse, as the Irish put up 70 points. Dayne Christ continues to put up big numbers in the passing game, throwing for 430+ yards and 6 TD.

    South Florida - 40
    Tennessee - 18

A good defensive battle through 3 quarters turns into a route by the Bulls. I believe the score was 19-18 when the wheels came off for the Vols. The big play was a pick in the 3rd quarter that started the downward spiral. Max's defense is tough to run against. He stuffed me twice on short yardage 4th down plays and held my running backs in check for most of the game. GG Max.

Thanks for getting that game in so quickly guys.

Based on the fact that our only user game of the week is already played, we will advance Friday night rather than Saturday.

Get those CPU games knocked out boys.

    Arkansas 7

The Tigers got off to a slow start in this one, but came alive. Tyrik Rollison made his second consecutive start and didn't disappoint. It appears the job is his for the rest of the year. First and foremost, he did not turn the ball over. Rollison threw for 228, ran for 68 and total 4 tds (3 rush and 1 pass). Pretty good. HB Onterrio McCaleb ran for 106 and a score as well.

LSU/Auburn game next week, just a heads up I may have to go on AP for that. With the Holiday weekend, I'm gonna be pretty busy. We have a wedding one day and a bbq the next and who knows what the hell else my wife will think of. Just a heads up.

Man, I know how that goes.....if it's anything like my deal I'll find out at 3:30 that I need to be at a bbq at the 3rd Aunt on the mothers side's house at 4. I always ask what it has to do with me, and then I always spend all afternoon trying to get back on the right side of the law. (n)

Thanks for letting me know dakota. We'll see where we are at and what Beazus' schedule looks like.

Brian - just do what I do in that situation. Act like an ass the entire time you are there and make it plain that you'd rather be getting a colonoscopy than to be at the 'event'. After doing that about 4-5 times at my wifes family functions, she started having me stop and get a 6 pack to drink before we went so at least I'd have a buzz and be remotely pleasant.

If you can't be where you want to be, at least don't be there sober.

Guys, I will be advancing tonight, and as of this morning the following teams still have CPU games to play:

    LSU
    Nebraska
    Texas
    Pittsburgh
    Oklahoma

Knock em out or they get simmed. Going out with the wife for a birthday dinner and then when I get home I should be good and buzzed, the advance (and simming) will happen shortly thereafter.

I was able to get some of my C2C comrades to play the LSU and OU games. Leon/Marcman - look for new in invites.
