The #6 Hawks has a close scare as the Hoosiers offense dominated the Hawks defense. The Hawks were only up 3 at half but managed to pull through in the second half.

Iowa's offense put together 526 total yards with 408 on the ground. QB Marvin McNutt rushed for 155 yards on 9 carries with 2 TDs. McNutt also went 8-8 with 108 yards passing. HB Brandon Wegher rushed for 136 yards on 19 carries with 3 TDs. WR Stephane Ngoumou caught 4 passes for 59 yards.

The Hawks defense was led by MLB Bruce Davis who had 10 tackles with 4 TFL. DE Broderick Binns added 5 tackles with 1 sack. SS Tyler Sash added 8 tackles with 1 TFL. CB Shuan Prater had 3 tackles with 1 interception and 1 fumble recovery.

The #6 Iowa Hawkeyes (6-1,4-0) will now face #21 Michigan in Ann Arbor and then face #23 Wisconsin back home in Iowa City.

The Aggies go on the road and win a big game against #16 Nebraska, but at a cost. A&M lost one of their starting DT's for 4 weeks with an injury, hopefully he can return prior to the game with UNC.

The offense carried the day, as the defense struggled at times. QB Ryan Tannehill moved the offense up and down the field, piling up 261 yards passing and 2 TD's to go along with 60 yards rushing and a TD. On the downside, he threw another pick, giving him 9 on the year. New HB Brad Stephens struggled a bit, only getting 76 yards on the game, 40 of which came on a nice option play. He did score 3 red zone TD's. Jeff Fuller led the WR's with 5 catches for 159 yards and a beautiful 60 yard TD catch where he broke a tackle after a 15 yard grab and then ran 45 yards to the house.
