It was due to an unexpected emergency, which is probably why he didn't get in touch with you (by your message I'm guessing he didn't).

Had to bring my wife to the hospital for some stomach pains. It ended up being just muscle strains from her preggers. I can play tonight after 7 pacific.

Good to hear everything was OK with the wife Colemanchu. My wife went through a lot of those same 'emergency visits' leading into the birth of our daughter in July, so I know that can be a bit stressful. When is the due date on the baby, by the way?

Also - after watching the Bears-Packers game yesterday, I can honestly say I no longer know if I hate the Packers as much as I envy them and their organization. There are backups on that team that are miles better than the absolute joke of a roster Chicago fielded yesterday, especially at the OL and WR position.:(

If you watched the Packers at all last season, you would know that they are incredibly deep. I mean, they won the super bowl with 14 guys on IR

January 6th and it all comes to an end.....

I hear you about the Packers depth though. I actually had to look up the guy who.was playing right tackle yesterday.

And yet he was somehow able to play 3 quarters and not commit a penalty or get beat for any sacks. The Bears starters at tackle are good for 2+ false start penalties a week EACH.

I knew they were a deep team, I'm not stupid, I just didn't want to realize until now how bad the Bears are offensively. The best part is, even if the Bears fire Jerry Angelo and get a legitimate GM in there (which they won't do), by the time they could build an offense around Jay Cutler/Matt Forte those two guys will be past their primes and the defensive playmakers will all be retired. The Bears will be lucky to win 6 games this year, and I think they have a real shot at a 4 win season.

As much as I hate Lovie Smith, I have to give him credit for winning as much as they have over the years with the garbage players on offense Angelo has given him to work with.
