    Match Day 11

    Athletico Bilbao 2 - 1 Wolfsburg

    Bilbao

    :goal:Javi Martinez (30')
    :goal: Javi Martinez (87')

    Wolfsburg

    :goal:Diego (57')

    Athletico Bilbao ------ VfL Wolfsburg
    ---------------------------------------------------
    15 --- SHOTS --- 8
    7 ---- SOTs ---- 5
    53% --- POSS --- 47%
    18 -- TACKLES -- 24
    2 --- FOULS --- 4
    0 ----- :yellowcard: ----- 0
    0 ----- :redcard: ----- 0
    0 - OFFSIDES - 0
    1 - CORNERS - 3
    80% - PASS ACC - 71%

Notes: Bilbao's first goal was a deflection, it was a driven shot that hit between the defenders leg and went to toward the far post. It looked like the goalie froze for a second. Bilbao controlled the first half mostly, the pace was quick but my players stayed in position and intercepted a lot of passes. Wolfsburg came out in the second half determined. I had trouble moving the ball toward the front of the formation, MoonBBad played like he was going to take the game. A few chances and some good moves in the box almost changed the game, missing three solid chances. The winning goal came at the end of the game with solid runs from my defensive midfield, timing was key and Javi Martinez kept his run onto a great through ball from Orbaiz, two touches and a finish sealed the game. Wolfsburg almost tied it up after that, but Bilbao defense held up (barely).

    Week 7 (Matchday 14)

    Sporting CP 1 - 3 LOSC Lille

    Sporting Events:
    :goal:Valdes (90)

    Lille Events:
    :goal:Sow (48)
    :goal:Hazard (79)
:goal:Sow (82) (May have been offsides)
    :yellowcard:Gervinho (89)

Notes: Lille follow up their first win of the season with another win against a top team in League 2. Unlike the first time Lille played Sporting CP, it actually seemed like Lille was in control, they may not have been on top in the shots category, but they had way more quality shots. Lille almost had a clean sheet, but Valdes broke through in the 90th minute to break it up. Gg Connor

Good result, makinpropel. it's interesting to see that you held him scoreless for so long and that he claims that he was in control. I wish we could watch like full replays of some of the games. Hopefully you keep up the good form, just gotta stop doubting yourself!

I meant good control in the standings. I had 58 percent possession in this game though

Yeah, I would have had way more shots, but I got too cute with my passing, and lost possession. I think I had a 3 or 4 on 1 that I ended up kicking away.
