The Rams had heard it all before from their fans. Nothing seems to make them happy. For a team so used to losing in this decade making the playoffs four straight years, and the NFC Championship in 3 of those years, should be a huge accomplishment; but the fans were having none of it. Some wanted a blowup of the entire team if the Rams "failed" again this year. Well, at least for one day in the year the Rams fans can be happy, as they have finally made it to the Superbowl where they will face the Browns.
Coming into this game everyone, including the coaching staff, thought that Sterlin Freeman would have to continue his marvelous season by posting monster stats in this one if the Rams were to have a chance, but at the end of the day, Freeman's 13 carries for 23 yards will be accepted by the team any day of the week if it means getting the W at the end of the day. Having to rely on Bradford for really the first time this season, the 5th year man out of Oklahoma delivered, going 33-46 for 411 yards and 4 TDs; with the most important stat being the zero INTs. His counterpart Ryan Mallet played brilliantly as well, going 17-27 for 327 and 3 TDs, and although his 1 INT did not prove to be costly (Rams settled for a FG on that drive) it was the only turnover of the entire game in a pretty solid game for both offenses (or probably a shitty day for both defenses).
The Rams head into the Superbowl as underdogs against a Browns team coming into this one with a lot of momentum after they themselves finally got over the hump by beating the Titans. However, if Bradford can put up another game like this one and if Freeman can find his legs after looking dead-tired in the NFC Championship, then who knows.
    Great Game cadepetty247
