We only have 7 seniors plus a freshman to cut so we'll be looking for 8-12 high quality recruits. Investing heavily into athletes this year after a very good defensive class last season

I think I only have 10 seniors...but some good juniors might leave early as well.

    GA

    13 SR's

However a handful of JR may leave Athens for the NFL. However I hope they don't or else my ass is in trouble.

I have 14, but no immediate needs besides DT (since FB is a waste of a position). Gonna Need to start getting :5stars:'s on this team.

FSU is in a similar position. 7 seniors, 1 of which is a kicker, and 2 other backups. Plus we don't have too many juniors who I think will leave to the NFL. Notre Dame, though looks like a ton of juniors could go pro. You'll be solid if you retain either or your 2 junior corners and junior FS. Plus there's good juniors at DE and LB. I do like the rule, brings a lot of uncertainty :)

:4stars:CB Matt Baker. 80 (+7 Gem). At 6'3" he has great coverage skills and good speed. The secondary is deep and not too many guys will be leaving next year so he'll most likely redshirt.

We also signed :4stars:ATH Joseph Sullivan. Scouted as a 78 WR , his spot on the team will depend on how many underclassmen leave. But he is 6'4" 225 so that helps him, whether he plays WR or strong safety in the 4-2-5. He's got no block shedding moves, so he may be a free safety sometime down the line.

A few early commits for LSU.

His strength isn't great, but that can improve. I liked his balanced blocking skills and his impact blocking.

This bowling ball of a DE isn't a great athlete, but he has strength at the point of attack and great pass rush and block shedding ability. Should be a contributor at the DE in our 3-4 in a year.

With 3 junior QB's on the roster we are planning for potential early exits with another local kid who runs the option. Great breaking tackle ability for a QB prospect, enough so that the game listed him as a HB recruit.

Virginia Tech has a bunch of recruits this week against Wisconsin. We didn't meet all the goals, but did win. Hopefully that counts for somethings. More information to come at advance...

    2 more for FSU
:5stars: ATH Kenny Snyder. Scouted as a 79 WR, it looks like he can only play wide receiver...unless he can block, he'd play TE. Why do we like Snyder? He's 6'7" 234, 90 speed, 92 acc., catch 77, speccatch 71, CIT 68, route running 87

:4stars: FS Justin Ward. 79 overall, 6'2" 195. He's fast and a pretty good tackler. Once he improves his coverage skills, he'll be a starting FS or SS.

We've signed 6 now, had 7 seniors and 1 is a kicker. We don't have too many guys on our board that look like they'll make the teams but we'll sign a few extra to make sure.
