I didn't commit him, I was just trying to get a reaction from SatansAngel1104. Well played Bill....

:5stars: ATH Derrick Bell has already received scholarship offers from Georgia and LSU. Derrick also seemed pretty enthusiastic when Mizzou contacted him this week (#2 on his board)

Dru50 I think I'm gonna break the hearts of UGA fans when this guy signs with Mizzou in a couple weeks :p

Well, you better hope he stays unsigned until your week 6 visit. He is coming to Athens in week 5.

To be honest though I won't be heartbroken about losing out on anyone in this class - this is the worst recruiting group interested in UGA since we started. Thankfully I only have 12 scholarships to fill.

I am banking on him holding off on signing until I get the visit...... that was the earliest available for me anyways, my schedule is road heavy early on. He seems very similar to my current HB who was an ATH in my year 1 class..... that's a good thing, plus he could probably play in the secondary if I needed. (or if you needed, don't want to count my chickens)

Well, he is #1 on my board and will be getting an hour a week until week 5, so I think I have at worst a 50/50 shot of him signing by then.

He'll get 60 minutes from us too..... and we'll promise him the moon ;)

I think this is the first class where I feel like none of the players I recruit will have to be on my depth chart right away..... I may have the luxury of redshirting all of them!

:5stars: QB TJ Jefferson, the #9 player in the nation and #2 QB committed to FSU. Jefferson is out of Ohio and is scouted as a 78 overall. He has 91 throw power and 85 accuracy and a big 6'5" frame. Expect Jefferson to start as a redshirt sophomore.

Georgia picks up a commitment from :4stars: #4 HB Troy Brown from Auburndale, FL. The signing fills one of our 2 needs this year, and Troy definitely doesn't fit the mold of the other backs on the roster (210 lbs with 89 speed) so he may be a good change of pace.

    1 down, 11 to go.

    3. :4stars: CB Edwin Thomas 77(-1) overall (64%), Incredible coverage skills, speed leaves something to be desired

Georgia picks up a commitment from :4stars: #12 Athlete John Smith. John is a 6'3" 200lb QB/WR from North Miami Beach. When asked by recruiting services why the team is apparently targetting 2 QB's when they just signed 2 last year Coach Dru indicated that the team has a lot of special packages involving 4 QB sets that he feels will take the NCAA by storm next year.

4 signings for the Bulldogs coming off week 5 visits:

:5stars: #4 ATH Derrick Bell 6' 220lbs out of Coppell, TX

The game says he is a CB, but I think he'll get a shot at the backfield at HB for us. Beat out Wyrmreaver for this kid.

:4stars: #3 FS Danny Roberts 6'2" 205lbs out of Clinton, MD

Good size, 92 speed and solid coverage/tackle skills. Could develop into the future starter at FS.

:4stars: #2 CB James Estes 5'10" 160lbs out of East Hartford, CT

4th straight year we've signed a top 3 CB. The secondary should be loaded next year, and this kid (currently projected at 80 OVR) may not even be good enough to be the dimeback.

    :4stars: #2 K Donnie Williams

91 KPW, fills my only other need this year.
