    FSU Escapes With a Win
    FSU 34
    LSU 24

FSU came into the game, sitting at #2 in the nation behind Notre Dame, but they weren't sure if QB Jacob Coker (who had 5 TDs and 0 INTs last week) would be replaced by QBs Matt Ryan or Jameis Winston. Coker was solid for FSU, throwing 4 TD passes but 2 INTs.

Florida State's main focus early was to stop LSU QB Jay Clark from running the ball and on the 1st snap, Clark took off scrambling before being tackled by All-American MLB Josh Fields and he fumbled, setting up an early FSU TD Pass. LSU replied with a TD drive, but FSU answered back by giving 6'6" receiver Kelvin Benjamin his 2nd TD of the quarter. The teams traded TDs and a Josh Fields interception set up a late FSU FG in the 2nd as FSU took a 27-17 halftime lead. Not much action happened in the 3rd, but LSU did score, tightening the game at 27-24. But on FSU's next possession, Coker had all day in the pocket at his own 49 and found WR Christian Brown, who was wide open in the back of the endzone. LSU added a FG on their drive, hoping for a TD, but FSU didn't give the ball back until they kicked a field goal to go up by 10 and win.

    FSU
Jacob Coker (QB)- 15-25 for 217 yards, 4 TD, 2 INT, 6 carries for 10 yards
Mario Pender (HB)- 17 carries for 113 yards
Eddie Huffman (HB)- 5 carries for 33 yards
Kelvin Benjamin (WR)- 4 receptions for 92 yards, 2 TD
Josh Fields (MLB)- 7 tackles, INT, FF
Nick Waisome (CB)- 2 tackles, 2 INT

    LSU
    J. Clark (QB)- 16-25 for 213 yards, TD, 3 INT, 12 carries for 51 yards
    T. Magee (HB)- 12 carries for 23 yards, 2 TD
    M. Bowman (WR)- 6 receptions for 75 yards

We need some sort of trophy or something. I don't know about you, but as soon as the game ended the credits started scrolling up.

I'll do my best, but I don't know. It's hard for me to play well two consecutive user games in a row.

    Mississippi State - 14
    Auburn - 35

Auburn does little to impress on offense but survives MSU. Yet again, the Auburn QB situation is a mess. And you thought Kiehl Frazier was bad? Well, these 2 jokers are having a hell of time passing the rock and Coach Deuel is having an even worse time deciding who is going to lead this team this season. Zeke Pike again started the game and again failed to do anything. Hale came in in the 2nd and showed a spark but the kid is turnover happy. At any rate, both played 2 quarters and sucked.

2nd half, Auburn up 14-7, the defense and special teams take care of the rest of the scoring. Sophomore WR Nick Oliver took the 2nd half kickoff 95 yards to make it a 21-7 game. After an touchback CB Jonathan Rose picked off a pass and took it 17 yards for a score. Later in the 4th Freshman SS Lamar Hall scored on a 40 yard interception return.

So things are not fine and dandy in Auburn but we are off to 2-1 start and hopefully we'll have some good news on the recruiting trail after this home win.

    Auburn Stats
QB Rasheed Hale 9/16, 106 Yards, 1 TD, 3 INT
QB Zeke Pike 4/8, 51 Yards, 0 TD, 1 INT
HB Chad Sims 18 Carries, 96 Yards, 1 TD
WR Jed Clement 5 Catches, 56 Yards
WR Alfred Crowder 3 Catches, 53 Yards, 1 TD
    CB Jonathan Rose 1 Tackle, 2 INT's, 1 TD
MLB Chris Landrum 7 Takcles, 5 Solo, 2 TFL, 1 Sack, 1 FF

Evans' Big Day Helps #8 A&M Raid SC
Mike Evans has had his share of big days, but this one was probably his best, catching 6 passes for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Aggies in general didn't seemed phased by the test of the first SEC game of the season after the bye, as they cruised to victory behind Evans, Johnny Manziel and their speedy defense. Manziel went 15-20 for 323 yards, 4 tds and 0 ints in his 3 quarters of action. Meanwhile, the defense picked off SC qb Dan Bryant 6 times, bringing their season total to 13 in just two games. Brandon Williams was a non-factor in the game, only rushing for 37 yards on 15 carries.
I find it interesting that this is the worst rated defense in the past 3 seasons, and yet they are playing better than my past defenses did.

I think we are starting to see the results of 3 seasons of CPU recruiting, which appears to be as good as ever.

I just say schedule cupcakes like the SEC does in real life from now on. Nobody is gonna lose to the CPU on AA anyways. It will also give users a chance to play the 2nd team quite a bit and not screw with the big boys from the other conferences until bowl week.

Oh and for the record MSU had a better rated offense than Auburn...so that tells you how well I have been recruiting, on offense at least :(

Although my 6'6" senior WR Kelvin Benjamin is a monster. He's an 86 overall but he will go up and get anything like he did over LSU's secondary. He's pretty much the biggest bright spot on my team this year.

You have struggled in recruiting surprisingly....I couldn't believe how many holes you still had to fill in the offseason last year.

Haha sure was. I only have 9 seniors this year, so we should probably get some quality recruits this year. Already signed a :5stars: QB and 99% that I'll sign the :5stars: WR that I guess you didn't decide to recruit.

Good to know that Georgia is in the giving mood. I hope they provide some charity tonight.

Mizzou Blanks Illinois 58-0 in Champaigne

After forcing a quick punt, the Tigers wasted little time as they scored in 2 plays. The game continued at this clip for most of the day as Mizzou terrorized the Illini QB whenever he scrambled en route to recording 13 sacks while also getting 2 INTs, a fumble recovery and a safety. All in all the defense was on fire. On offense things were clicking well as Maty Mauk had over 300 yards passing by halftime and also gained over 100 yards rushing in the game while DGB had 6 catches for 133 yards and a pair of TDs. The lone hiccup on the day was an injury to starting tailback Eric Silva. Silva is expected to miss about 3 weeks recovering and should be back before the Tigers begin their ultra difficult late season stretch of games.

Well i assume uga didn't recruit the WR because they actually worry about their 5 star recruiting cap.

Pretty much. I only can sign 3 :5stars: this year and WR isn't really a need. I'm going after a T, who while he is a bust still should come in at around a 76 OVR, an ATH and a QB (that I'm only signing on principle because he is the top recruit in GA).

It took a quarter for the Tiger offense to get rolling. But when it did, it didnt stop. Clark threw back to back TD's to WR Wilson and TE Bowman for a 14-3 lead. But Clemson would come right back. They scored 2 TD's within the last minute of the half. The second being on a 50 yard Hail Mary right at the end.

QB Clark went right back to work, using big passing plays to set up TD runs by McGee and Dickson. Clemson would not let the game get away from them. A 12 yard TD late in the 4th cut the LSU lead to 28-24. After running down the clock to 4 minutes, LSU got another TD by Loius and added on a FG. Clemson still would not go, as they scored a TD to make it 38-31. The ensuing onside kick was then returned by Turner all the way back for a score. Another pick 6 would be added, and the upset was complete in Baton Rouge.

    LSU 52 - #5 Clemson 31

Wolfpack Play Hard, Aggies Too Much In 38-6 Win
NC State started out the game by intercepting Manziel in back to back possessions, and they would score back to back field goals after good drives inside the Aggie 10 at the beginning of the second half, but between those moments, TAMU was just too much to handle. Brant Lee started off the scoring when he caught an easy 40 yard touchdown late in the first quarter, and after a 3 and out by NC State, Brandon Williams struck the Pack in the heart with a 78 yard punt return to make it 14-0. A Manziel pass to the TE Burks made it 21-0 going into halftime.
As stated previously, the Pack came out fired up, but after two good marches, they failed to convert and had to settle for 3 each time. After a long pass to Lee again, Williams stuck it in from 5 yards out and then again from 11 yards out after an immediate interception by the defense. At 35-6 it was pretty much over, except State through a 5th interception on the day which led to the Bertolet FG for the final margin.
Williams had 175 all-purpose yards and accounted for 3 tds. Manziel threw 8-11 for 178 with 2 tds and 2 ints. Lee had 2 catches for 100 yards and 1 td.
For State Stocker went 16-31 for only 155 yards and 4 ints. Nothing special outside of that.
Aggies now get ready to welcome the Hogs into Kyle Field in what should be a wild game in 2 weeks after the bye.
