    Season 4 Washington State Cougars

    WSU - 61
    UNLV - 14

After an opening week off, the Washington State Cougars flew to Nevada to face the UNLV Rebels. Since taking over the team, the new coaching staff had high hopes for Senior QB Ebahm Feathers, and he did not disappoint.

After a defensive 3 and out, the Cougar Triple Option marched down the field and Feathers scored on a 35 yard keeper. That was just a beginning of a long day for the UNLV Rebels. After another QB keeper, and a Passing TD, the half time score was 31-7.

After the half, the Cougars kept it on cruise control, scoring on 2 consecutive drives and also a Defensive score, ending the game with a final score of 62-14

    Player of the game:

QB E. Feathers 322 total yards, 5 total TDs

There's not a better way to start the season for the Cougars. Another off week for preparation, then a trip to Southern Cal to play one of the nations best, and Pac-10 favorite, #4 USC Trojans.

    Next week:
