The game started off shaky for the Cards QB throwing 2 interceptions in the first quarter. One of which helped the Panthers get within scoring position for the lone score of the first quarter. Coach Chandler was a little worried he started the wrong QB, until Harper shook off his first game of the season jitters and got things rolling. Wells wasn't much of a factor in the run game mustering 57 yards. He was pretty much shut down for most of the game. He did help put together a nice long drive that would end with him running it for the score for Arizona's first score. The Panthers would answer back after another Harper interception putting them in position again for a Cam Newton run. The score was 14-7. Fitzgerald finally made an appearance beating his man off the press to catch the long pass to the 18 yard line. He was then rewarded with Harper hitting him again for the TD putting the score at 14-14 at the half.

From the start of the half, Harper took over. After the Panthers had put together a nice TD drive, the Cards answered with Roberts catching a 43 yard pass down the middle for the tying score to end the quarter. Carolina quickly answered with a long drive that ended with Newton hitting Lafell for the score. Harper, once again, put together some great throws to hit Roberts for the TD to once again tie the game. With time running out Carolina was trying to put a game winning drive together. The offense fell short when they tried to go for it on 4th down and Newton failed to hit his WR. With the ball already on the other side of the 50, the offense got the ball within field goal position for the game winning FG, 31-28.

Hitmhrd72 Great game brother. Really felt like we were cruising comfortably all game, but you made some great plays from the pocket late in the game. Your WR corps were beastly, our D is usually pretty lights out, but you did a great job challenging my corners late in the game.
