    Michigan 27
    Iowa 6

Michigan scored on their opening drive of the game with a short out route that ended up going 45 yards for a touchdown to Matt Herron. That would be about as easy as the offense would have it all game as the rest of the game, Iowa pretty much locked Michigan up. The only problem was Iowa was having trouble getting anything going offensively as well. On Michigan's 2nd possession, they seemed to be moving the ball pretty well, but on a 1st and 10, Justice Hayes was hit at the line of scrimmage and fumbled for the 2nd time in 2 games, and Iowa recovered at their own 45. Michigan and Iowa would exchange punts after Michigan was called for a hold on 3rd and short where they got the 1st down. On the punt, Iowa's returner misplayed the ball and let Michigan recover. Michigan would find Justice Hayes on that possession for a receiving touchdown. Michigan would add a field goal before the half to make it 17-0 going into the half. Iowa would receive the ball, and on a 2nd down play, would call a screen pass where the QB threw it behind his HB and Michigan would recover. Michigan would run the ball twice with Justice Hayes and he got into the end zone on the 2nd of the runs to make it 24-0. Michigan would add a field goal in the 4th, and Iowa would notch their first touchdown of the game with a little over 2 minutes to make the score 27-6. Iowa would not recover the onside and Michigan would kneel out.

    Key stats:

    Michigan's defense: 0 FF, 2 FR, 3 Ints.
    Devin Gardner- 13-18 208 2 tds 0 ints

I think whoever comes out of the other division is going ot have a hard time stopping Michigan. They are a pretty solid squad this year and Gardner at QB makes them elite because they can throw or run.

Not to mention that defense causes turnovers every game.

I think the ACC is up for grabs... my prediction: B1G wins the Orange Bowl easily. Michigan gets revenge as they cruise past Clemson.

    Boston College 0

I'm surprised how Boston College wasn't able to get on the scoreboard amassing 200+ total yards on offense a lot through the air. The Cavaliers secondary actually wants to give a damn now as they forced 3 interceptions. One was returned for a TD. The offense for the Cavaliers was bleak but after picking up Tim Lott who will be sharing time with Watford next season.

I love how everyone is not even giving UNC a second thought as to who wins the ACC. Gives me some motivation.

    #6 Wake Forest 38
    vs
    #9 Clemson

I will try to sum this game up, although the whole thing was a blur for the most part. Clemson got on top early with a field goal, but two early touchdowns by Matt James gave Wake a 14-3 lead.

"Honestly, at that point I felt we were very much in control of the game."

Then, Mike Bellamy took the kickoff 101 yards to the house. I lost my train of thought.. I'll just go into stats.

Wake Forest had 478 yards compared to Clemson's 233, and each team thew an interception. Senior wide out Matt James led the charge with 5 receptions for 169 yards and 3 TDs, making a living behind the Clemson secondary. The 6'6 behemoth has shown NFL scouts he has the speed necessary for the next level, and his stock is definitely on the rise after performing so well against a good Clemson secondary. Kevin Sousa had a good day, going 14-23 for 393 yards and 4 TDs.

"We got a lot of big plays today from our receivers. They really help me out when they get open downfield; fortunately I was able to hit them in stride and let them make plays for us," said Sousa.

HB Khiry Sutton had a good day racking up 133 yards on 21 attempts, including a 48 yard scamper for a TD.

Overall, a good win for Wake Forest which puts them in the driver's seat for the division. They will finish off the year with road trips to Georgia Tech and Maryland to close out the year. Both should be interesting games against teams with some talent. This will be no cake walk to Charlotte.

Nebraska Rams It Down Penn State's ......

    #23 Nebraska 37
    #25 Penn State 14

Penn State started out great, forcing a punt on Nebraska's first drive. They also drove it down the field and scored through the air to Bill Belton. Their first drive was the best PSU looked all day. Following that series, Nebraska took advantage of a erratic Pat Jones, picking him off 3 times. Penn State's running game was shut down as well, with no running back getting even 50 yards on the ground. Husker RB Bret Davis, on the other hand, embarrassed the Penn State defense, who up to this point was thought to be a tough defense. They had no answer to the Husker's smashmouth attack that reminded Husker fans of the old days of Tom Osborne. Penn State is effectively out of the Big Ten race until some major upsets happen. Right now, their chance seems to be 0.1%. They will have to bounce back quickly and win another to become bowl eligible.

Good game BPHusker I think Davis is beginning to look like a hall of famer.
