Lobos inch past Rams in Fort Collins, defense gave up too many big plays. Next week, the final test against #23 TCU Horned Frogs with the conference title and potential National Title shot on the line.

Thats a great win for the Lobo's. There hasnt been to much talk about it thus far but New Mexico is looking pretty good for a possible bcs title game. Keep up the great work coach.

Mississippi State Edges Arkansas, Wins 26-13

Facing #9 ranked Arkansas, the Mississippi State Bulldogs knew they were in for a fight. Boy did their defense show up. Facing one of the top offenses in the nation, the Bulldogs kept the potented Razorbacks offense in check for most of the day. The only two scores they gave up came off of turnovers by the offense deep in their own territory. With their starting QB still out, and their backup injured for the season, the Bulldogs turned to Dylan Favre. Yes, Brett Favre's son. He was able to manage the game by completing 11 of 22 passes for 171 yards (0 TD, 1 INT). RB's William Shumpert and Casey McCall had two touchdowns apiece, helping the Bulldogs establish a balanced attack. "This is a great victory for the program, especially after the heartbreaker against #1 Alabama last week," said Favre. "Hopefully we can finish this season strong against Ole Miss."

GG JV, that was a tight game and a lot closer than the score shows. GL with the rest of your season bud!
