    Clemson dominates BC:
In a game that started fast by both teams, The Tigers were too much for The Eagles from BC. Heisman front runner Mike Bellamy and SR Wide Out had big games totaling 293 yards and 5 TDs. Both the OL and DL controlled the fate of both teams by opening up holes for Bellamy and crushing the BC QB and RB. The offense totaled 479 yards with 304 of them coming on the ground with 5 TDS.

"Our offense has absolutely hit our stride right now. Even though we lost last week to Wake we have been able to put up the points and yards. We just got to get back to fundamentals on defense." said Coach Burgdorff at the post game press conference.

The defense was shaky at first blowing coverages and allowing the Eagle offense to score easily on their first drive. After the tongue lashing by LB Tony Steward the defense clamped down and went back to their hard hitting and tenacious ways. They forced on pick and sacked the QB 7 times before the backups came in.

As Clemson's hope to making it to the ACC Championship are still alive by beating BC 52-7 they still need to take care of business at Miami University next week.

    Nebraska Takes Down IU
    Huskers Win 44-28
Bloomington, IN- Nebraska toyed with the Hoosiers for the 1st half before breaking things open in the 3rd. Bret Davis had another strong game running for 193 yards on 32 attempts. Davis wasn't expected to get the lion's share of the carries this week, but after Adam Gore went down with a torn pectoral muscle Davis had to carry the load.

Brion Carnes had a miserable game going 6-19 for 67 yards 1 TD and 2 Int. Jason Robinson added to his team leading receiving total with 3 catches for 38 yards and 1 TD. The defense didn't play well, but came up with big plays in big spots. Indiana scored with :04 seconds left in the 2nd quarter to take the lead at 21-13, Aaron Green returned the ensuing kickoff for a TD and Nebraska converted a 2 pt conversion to tie things up going into the half. On IU's 1st play Josh Mitchell jumped a hook route and intercepted IU to give Nebraska a chance to take the lead. 2 plays later Carnes hit Robinson for a 4 yard TD to put Nebraska in the driver's seat 28-21. The defense came up with 8 sacks on the day led by Darryl Ruffin's 2.5. Nebraska has equalled their win total from last season and now stand at 7-3 (4-2) with games remaining against Michigan State and Northwestern. If Nebraska wins out they will secure Coach Bulgy's second 10 win season in Lincoln.

    PSU's Scoring Explosion Downs Minnesota

    Penn State 62
    Minnesota 17

Everyone knew that Minnesota was overmatched and had a very slim chance of coming away with the win, but they didn't think it'd be like this. Penn State had a scoring explosion! On the opening kickoff PSU's John Sullivan ripped off a 91 yard TD. On the next offensive series, Derrick Johnson flew past Minnesota defenders for a 63 yard TD run. Pat Jones also got in on the fun throwing a 35 yard TD to Bill Belton and a 28 yard score to Markell Cameron to take a 28-7 lead after 1 quarter. Following some great defensive stops, Pat Jones threw another TD, this time to TE Wade. Pat Jones finished 6-8 185 yard and 5TDs.

The defense also stepped up. Dominic Holmes had a team leading 12 tackles and also had 8 TFL and 4.5 sacks. Holmes definitely has solidified his ranking in the top 3 for many awards.

    Michigan 66
    Northwestern 3

After two back to back tough weeks, Michigan finally gets an easy game in their most lopsided win of the season. Michigan racked up 4 touchdowns today that weren't offensive, which lead to this game getting out of hand. Devin Gardner looked great early in the game, but the whole state of Michigan had a scare when he went down early in the 2nd quarter, but relieved to find out it was just a concussion, and with next week off, he shouldn't miss any playing time luckily. Devin was 10-12 for 172 yards and a touchdown before he left. Justice Hayes, coming off his worst performance of the year, had 11 carries for 71 yards and 2 touchdowns, but also returned a kick for a touchdown showing off his versatility. In Gardner's place, Russell Bellomy showed that he's a quality backup going 9-13 for 122 yards and a touchdown, but also threw a pick. Freshman Corey Davis had his coming out party going for 100 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. Big day for the true freshman, and hopefully a sign of big things to come. In the 3rd quarter is when things went bad for Northwestern, as they had 3 straight turnovers go for Michigan touchdowns, 2 fumbles, and an interception. Michigan wraps up their 4th straight appearance in the conference championship game, win or lose against Ohio St, they still get to the Conference Championship to face Wisconsin in a rematch of earlier this season where the Wolverines won 31-0 at Wisconsin.

Ilinois embarrassed at Camp Randall 66-6

This may have been the easiest game of the season for UW. Using a heavy dose of the running game to take pressure off Gandy, everyone got in on the action today. All 4 HBs in the rotation averaged over 8 YPC with Gordon leading the way at 122 yards and Doe goign for 19 YPC on 5 attempts. Rogers was the only one not to break a run of 20+ and the only one not to score. With such an explosive dominating running attack, Gandy was extra comfortable as he went 8/11 with 2 TDs on the day while even having 2 passes dropped. Hammond was on the receiving end of both scores.
The defense was dominant. Guy Arnold is hitting his stride on the DL with Gilbert's season over as he picks up 2 more sacks today and a FF. Moyer, McDonald, Brown and Bridges each pulled down INTs while only Bridges was not able to run his back for a touchdown including Brown taking his 86 yards. Brown also took a punt 71 yards bcak to the house for the score and totaled 140 yards of PR on the day.

Texas JUCO transfer Greg Bryant officially announced his commitment to join the crowded Badger backfield next season joining one of the nations top HS recruits Calvin Davis. With Senior Jedd Lewis already on his way out, Melvin Gordon is holding back to back 1000+ yard seasons and may look to maximize his earning potential and try out the NFL. Charles Rogers is coming into his own in his true sophomore season and leads the Badgers with 10 scores. Doe is still looked at as the return specialist but the team likes to give him a few touches each game

    VT 24

UNC holds onto their lead to avoid quite a scare at home. They got a lot of momentum going with a pick 6 early in the game, and maintained the lead until they were towering 27-3 going into the fourth. Williams made some bad decisions in the 4th, and threw a couple of picks. UNC's secondary got burned on blitz plays in the 4th, giving up 3 TDs to Robert Lockhart (all bombs down the field). UNC got the ball near the end of the game and was able to thankfully run the clock out with a 27-24 win. The Tar Heels clinch the division for the first time ever under coach Fuzzy, and will face off against a talented Wake Forest team in Charlotte. Great game Total Doubt, I'm sure we will have some classics in the years to come. Sorry the summary was brief, I'm in a rush.

Good game @Cougars your offense was pretty slick, I could never stay on top of what you wanted to do. And your defense frustrated me to no end. I'm in a 4 game user loss slump right now, pretty frustrating. I guess I should change it up

maniac13. I had an 8 game streak until earlier this season when I beat cougars at the buzzer. Just keep at it, don't get down on yourself. There are some very good players in this dynasty. Luckily you have a team that is already pretty solid and you should be able to recruit pretty well so that when your skills catch up you'll be as talented as everyone else. During my streak I would get on and do nothing but practice for a few hours running random plays to figure out what worked with my players and come up with some play packages I could use. I am slowly getting more familiar with my playbook and I am adding new stuff every week. You'll get it put together, and turn it around and when you finally get that win it will feel so sweet.

appreciate the advice. I think that I do need to get on and just practice with random plays as you said to get more comfortable with the playbook as a whole. It shall come eventually.

Agreed, it was surprising against your 4-2-5. I couldn't pass against Nebraska's.
