    Season 4 Week 13

IU pasted rival Purdue to lock up the Big 10 title and a trip to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl. IU hung 62 points on the Boilers, bolstered by a 436 yard 6 touchdown day from Quarterback Adam Follett. Stepping in for the injured Maxwell candidate at QB Charles Love (Torn Pectoral, out another week), Follett had a field day against the Boilers' defense. Hoosier Running Back Darius Willis had a strong day at the park as well, rushing for more than 125 yards, including a bruising 35 yard run where he broke four tackles before being dragged down at the Boilers' 5 yard line.

IU faces the top ranked Colorado Buffs next week in a matchup that could alter the National Title picture entirely. The Hoosiers unfortunately will be without Love for the contest, but are very encouraged by Follett's performance in the last game.

Northwestern continued their string of wins against hated rival Illinois.

    Northwestern - 38
    Illinois - 7

Northwestern's Junior starting QB came back after a prolonged injury to lead the Wildcats' passing attack, putting up 283 yards on 19 of 35 passing, including 2 TD passes but unfortunately also threw 2 interceptions.

The Wildcats' star HB Fields had another good game, carrying the ball 26 times for 108 yards but unfortunately didn't score any TDs (his two backups got the carries at the goalline) and sophomore backup QB Payne carried the ball 8 times for 59 yards and a TD as well as completed 3 of 3 passing for 35 yards showing his multidimensional abilities.

The Wildcats defense provided the spark early, giving the offense a short field with a flutter interception by a defensive lineman which would be the 1st of 3 interceptions collected by the defense as they once again showed promise for next year as they continued to make a push for a bowl game this season.

South Carolina plays some good defense on the road, making Clemson one dimensional, and come out with a victory. Bad clock management at the end of the first half carried over into the second half opening possession for Clemson, who could have put up some kind of a two possession lead, but came up with nothing. South Carolina had some big scoring plays offensively and Clemson couldn't keep up.

    Good game Gwill.

The Cornhuskers jumped out to a 13-3 lead, but it was all Buffs after that. Amir Anderson led the charge, throwing for 402 yards and 3 tds. WR Dustin Ebner caught 8 balls for 136 yards and 2 tds, but also returned the 2nd half kickoff 90 yards for a td to break the game open. The Buffs host Indiana next week in the season finale.

USF was up early 7-0 on a pick six and never looked back. BJ Daniels looked sharp throwing 2 TD's. The Bulls look to gain some momentum heading closer to bowl season.
