Bellamy and Steward to much for the Hurricanes:

Clemson defeats Miami 55-33 in an old wild west shootout. Both high flying offenses were on tap as they combined for almost 1,000 yards of offense and 88 points total. They both scored at will in the first half going back and forth but SR RB Mike Bellamy's speed was too much. He not only ran one kick return back but two. Both coming at opportune times when Hurricanes thought they had pulled all the momentum their way. Mike finished with 7 kick returns, 385 yards, averaging 55 yards a return and scoring twice. But that was not all for the Heisman Candidate, he also rushed for 189 yards on 25 attempts scoring 3 times. His 87 yard TD sealed the deal late in the game.

On defense the Tigers were able to intercept the ball three times but could not get any pressure on Miami's QB. SR LB Tony Steward was about the only Tiger worth anything as he intercepted the ball on Miami's first drive setting up a FG and then late in the 4th Quarter where Bellamy scored on the very next play. The defense struggled but kept strong in the redzone allowing zero touchdowns and 4 FGs.

Clemson finishes the regular season off next week against in state rival South Carolina.

I agree. We have a great dynasty going. Everyone gets along, is competitive, and can stand the wise cracks. We need people who will fit in with what we have going. Not too mention can withstand an advance every day and a half.

I just noticed that Georgia Tech is 1-9. The players must all still be in shock from their coach being shot.

It's between you and Qwon. The only way I have a chance is if Qwon loses and I win. :\

    #3 Wake Forest 38
    @
    Maryland 9

Wake Forest cruises past the Terrapins in their final ACC game before heading to Charlotte to take on the Tarheels of Chapel Hill. Matt James was an animal hauling in 6 balls for 191 yards and 3 scores from 43, 74, and 70 yards out. Blah blah blah, time for the big game already fuzzyl0gic . As I said i think you will win just because of my low rated defense, but if my offense can keep up we will have a chance bud. Can't wait either way.

    PSU D-line Dominates Wisconsin

    Penn State 34
    #9 Wisconsin 13

Penn State's defense decided to show up in what was one of the biggest games of the year against #9 Wisconsin. They gave Badger QB Gandy no time to find open receivers, hurrying him at least every other play or so. Holmes and company made sacks in crucial situations, a few on 4th down when the game was getting out of reach. The secondary also played well, snatching 2 balls out of the air that turned into points for PSU. Overall, the whole defense played well, except for a lapse on 4th down late in the game when Wisconsin was able to catch a pass surrounded by 3 Nittany Lions. By then the game was won, so it wasn't of much consequence.

The Penn State run game did what Nebraska did to Penn State 2 weeks earlier. Jackson pounded the rock 25 times for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns. Pat Jones did just enough to help the offense after having a horrible game against Nebraska two weeks prior. His pass to Mickeal Cameron effectively nailed the coffin shut for Wisconsin, scoring on a 82 yard bomb where he outran the whole secondary, to go up 34-6.

Penn State is awaiting the results of Purdue's game with Indiana. If Purdue loses, which doesn't look likely, Penn State will have to opportunity to play powerhouse #2 Michigan in the Big Ten Championship game. It won't matter though, if they can't finish the season with a win against Illinois.

    Nebraska Dominates Michigan State
Davis Sets Single Season Rushing Record

East Lansing, MI- Bret Davis has assured himself a place as one of the Huskers all time greats. Saturday afternoon he broke the schools single season rushing record and now stands just over 200 yards from the all time mark. Davis broke the record on a 33 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter en route to his 5th 200 yard game of the season. Coach Bulgy said, "We couldn't be happier for Bret. We knew when we brought him in he could be a special player, and he has surpassed every prediction we had for him. He is having a special season, and we will hate to lose him next season."

Davis was almost overshadowed by fellow JR Adam Gore, who has quietly crafted a great career in Lincoln, and his 142 yards and 2 TD's on only 9 carries. Gore and Davis were part of the same recruiting class; a tandem of :5stars: RB who were predicted to be special in red and white, and haven't disappointed. If Davis leaves early Gore will have a chance to unseat him atop the Huskers rushing record.

The defense for Nebraska bent but didn't break. They allowed an 80 yard TD to Michigan State RB Hill on the first play of the game, but tightened up to allow the offense to run rattle off 28 unanswered points. The defense also picked off 4 passes by the Michigan State QB. Nebraska will face Northwestern in Evanston next Saturday to finish off their season before heading to a bowl game.

I have a company wide inspection, so I'm currently at work now, and I won't be off until 9 or 10 am central time, but I'll play as soon as I get home.

No, my schedule is normally 6am-3pm Monday through Friday. I am a regional supervisor for a convenience store chain and I'm shorthanded a manager, so I'm having to come in to get the store ready for inspection.
