I finally played a good game with this Iowa team. I destroyed Stanford from jump street. I took my starters out at half and still managed to hold #12 Stanford to 7 2nd half points. My defense had 2 TDs themselves. Bout damn time. Next week I look to continue my dominance and destroy fuzzyl0gic in our first ever meeting. Bring it.

Yeah go ahead. I've always thought it was best to correlate the talent you have with a specific scheme, rather than squeeze a peg through a hole.

I did, I have decent receivers, a QB who can run and a shit load of high overall running backs.

Sounds like you could implement about anything you wanted on offense then. Was his dline too talented so you didn't have any time in the pocket, or what?

    Nebraska Takes Down #13 Virginia
Charlottesville, VA- Coach Bulgy has finally gotten a signature win at the helm of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nebraska went into Charlottesville and stunned the #13 ranked Cavaliers 34-31. Nebraska knew they would need to have a great game in all phases to have a chance against UVA and they delivered this week.

The Cav's got the scoring going in the 1st with a 40 yard FG by Holmes. But as was the case all day, Nebraska had an answer; a 23 yard FG by Matt Bondi to tie it early in the 2nd. Virginia converted a 4th and inches with a fake punt from their own 34 yard line and then hit the TE swanson for a 64 yard TD to take a 10-3 lead. Nebraska failed to muster an answer on offense, but Josh Mitchell helped them out with a pick 6 to tie the game going into halftime.

The second half got underway with a long return by Green to set up Nebraska deep in UVA territory, they failed to score any points. Virginia answered by driving down the field, but Watford was picked in the endzone by Josh Mitchell for the second time of the day. Bret Davis put Nebraska in the lead 17-10 with an 80 yard TD run. It was the first big run from the Husker's all day.

Virginia had an answer of their own on the next drive as Watford hit Jennings for a 14 yard TD to tie the game again. Matt Bondi drilled another FG for Nebraska this time from 52 out to again take the lead.

Virginia KR Darius Terrell returned the ensuing kick 100 yards for a score and seemed to have stolen all the momentum, until Aaron Green returned the next kick 99 yards to put Nebraska back into the lead 27-24.

Virginia scored a TD on their next drive and took the lead at 31-27, but left Nebraska 2 minutes and change to score. The Hhusker offense stayed efficient and rode Brion Carnes' arm down the field. Carnes went 7-8 for for 59 yards and a game winning TD as time expired.

    Great Game -Cougars-

Dude, I just don't know, he ran a counter and my LB just ran right past him which led to a TD. I was getting pressured as soon as I snapped the ball, my line consists of 70's and 60's. And I got zero pressure on him and he just ran like almost every play, I knew it was coming but due to the talent gap there was nothing I can do.
