The two teams met in Texas today on a windy afternoon. UCF flexed their muscles on defense early, stopping Tx State on a 3rd and short on the opening drive, holding them to a field goal, and it was all Knights from that point on. The opening drive was a heavy dose of RB Owi, who ended the drive on a solid 3 yd TD run. After a quick 3 and out, UCF got back to work, attacking the TX State secondary a bit more through the air. Coach Ninety: "Once we established the run and showed they needed to bring extra guys to help their DLine, we had our WRs in space with single coverage, and things just flowed from there." UCF rattled off 21 unanswered points before TX State's Speedy WR Rosemound took a 61 yard bomb to the house. "Everyone else is in slow motion when they call my number" said the WR after the game. The rest of the game consisted of clock management and a few offensive flashed from the TX state team. Namely Rosemound again, who had another 41 yard TD in the 3rd. Also of note true freshman QB David Poole earned the start this week and went 12 for 12 on the day.

Good Game BPHusker good luck in the coaching carousel, I know matthew34brown is lobbying pretty hard for the MAC, but the American is a BCS AQ conference and I'd love to have you join me over here. Best of luck man.

POG: Dareen Owi, HB UCF; 19 ATT 179 Yds.

I might stay in the Midwest depending on who offers, but West Coast might be fun. :D

    Are we advancing tonight?
