    Season 4 Week 8 Results

    #2 Colorado 31
    #7 Texas AM 28

Tight conference showdown, where every possession counted. The Buffs fell behind early, after Amir Anderson threw a interception on an underthrown pass that led to an Aggie TD. The Buffs came back strong, pulling out to a 21-7 lead behind Anderson's arm. The Aggies scored on the next play, completing a 75 yard bomb on a pass that the deep Buff CB gave up on, thinking the pass was too far out of bounds, but a great user catch led to the score. The Buffs kicked a field goal in the 3rd quarter to take a 10 point lead, but the Aggies came back to pull within 3 points at 24-21. Anderson threw a awful pass that got picked on the second play of the next drive and Texas AM punched it in to take a 28-24 lead with about 3 minutes to play. It didn't look good for the Buffs. Anderson was cool, completing short passes as he drove the Buffs inside the Aggie 10 yardline with just over a minute to play. The Buffs ran on first down for a 2 yard gain, down to the 5. Texas called its 2nd timeout and the Buffs ran again on 2nd down for the go ahead TD. I'll post up the replay and picture, you tell me what you think. Anyway, no challenge (thanks EA) and the score counts. The Aggies did manage to get in field goal range, for about a 45 yarder, but the ole "freeze the kicker" led to a kick that bounced off the crossbar, just short. Its a signature win for the Buffs, who are looking to complete the Big 12 season undefeated now.

Great game Big Slick. Furious comeback....I was sweating.

Anderson had his worst game of the season, finishing 24/35 for 386 1td 3 int. He was under HEAVY pressure all game, TAMU's left def end is a beast, he had a 3 or 4 sacks and was constantly after me all game.

The Buffaloes came into Kyle Field ready to rumble in a Big 12 matchup of the week. A&M was able to take advantage of an early mistake by Colorado and intercept the ball on the buffs first possesion. A&M struck first blood with a 5yrd pass to JR WR Swoop to go up 7-0. However, the buffs would go back to work and put up two td's in the 1st qtr for a 14-7 lead. Things were not looking good for the aggs when Colorado was able to punch in an 8yrd run to go up early in the 2nd qtr 21-7. Then QB Brooks and WR McNeal was able to breath some life back into the aggies with a 74yrd bomb down the sideline for a score. A&M felt very fortunate to go into halftime 21-14 only down by 7 and receiving the 2nd half kickoff. Both defenses held strong in the 3rd qtr not allowing a score. Colorado opened the 4th with a quick FG to pull ahead 24-14. The 12th man really started getting into the game and helped the Aggie offense put their next two possesions into the endzone while stopping the buffs to take the late lead 28-24. But on Colorados last possesion the A&M defense was tired and could not make on last stop. The buffaloes drove down the field and scored a controversial TD to take the lead 31-28. Thanks to EA the play was not challengable as A&M fans believe he was down on the 1yrd line. With under a minute left in the game A&M put together on last effort and drove down the field to get within FG range. The offense put the ball in the middle of the field for FR K Graham for a 45yrd attempt. Using it's final TO colorado coach dakota put the freeze on the true freshman. The young kid just didn't have the leg as it bounced off the crossbar and back into the endzone. Game over 31-28 Colorado.
If both A&M and Colorado are able to run the tables in conference play they will meet up again in the Big 12 Championship. Should be a good one.

    Great Game Dakota!

My LE is a game changer.
