    Maryland defeats Auburn 23-20

This game was a close one throughout, with the Terrapins just getting by the Auburn Tigers. It looked like the Terps would go up early after holding Auburn to a 3 and out, but quarterback Troy Jones fumbled inside the Auburn 10 yardline to turn the ball over. The rest of the quarter was pretty defensive until Auburn kicked a field goal with 3 seconds left.

Maryland opened up the scoring in the second quarter with an 81 yard run by junior running back Justus Pickett in his first game back after missing four weeks. "I saw the hole open up and I made the best of my opportunity. It feels good to be back in the line up and getting carries." Pickett said after the game. Auburn then kicked a field goal after intercepting Jones, and then scored a touchdown off of another Jones interception. Maryland kicked a field goal with 57 seconds left in the half to send it to halftime 13-10 Tigers.

The teams traded a few three and out positions to start the third, and the Terps special teams came up big. A line drive punt was fielded by the Tigers Jonathan Rose and he was lit up, fumbling the ball for the scoop and score touchdown for the Terrapins. "That play was huge for us." Coach Mackey said. "Our offense was struggling, and with the speed they have on offense it's only a matter of time before they score." And score Auburn did on a 58 yard quarterback keeper by junior Kiehl Frazier. "I'm not gonna lie after that play, I didn't know what to think. Just like that they erased what we had worked for. But Justus came up to me on the sideline and said just feed me the ball coach, I'll make shit happen. So I fed him the rock." The Terrapins kicked a field goal with 32 seconds left in the quarter to send it to the fourth tied at 20.

The lone score in the fourth quarter was a 29 yard field goal by the punter Michael Tart. "Johnnie Humphrey had missed 3 in a game earlier in the year, and he's still a young cat so we went with Michael this game. I'll tell you what, it was a damn good decision. Michael got the game ball, and I gave him a bottle of Red Stag to celebrate with. But he's got one night to celebrate, we're going into Death Valley next week looking for the upset. We want to shake shit up in the ACC. The turtles are here baby!"

The Terps will be going into the matchup with Clemson on a 3 game win streak, but should still be heavy underdogs. "We know that Coach Burgdorff's team is the favorite, and rightfully so. But we think we can go in there and pull off the upset."

Hahahah, I'm sorry man. I figured you'd win. Big win for the Boilermakers!

But yeah we disconnected 5 times. At one point we got to play the entire first half, and it disconnected us at half time. So we started over with a 10-10 tie going into the second half, and we were just gonna play the first half as if it was the 2nd half.My defense forced a 3 and out, then we ran 2 plays on offense, got down to around the penn st 30, and it disconnected again. We were in an xbox live party together and never lost connection so it had to be EA servers...

    #8 Wake Forest 63
    vs
    Duke 17

Duke has a looooong way to go -Cougars- as the score was 63-10 at the half. The Blue Devils couldn't do anything right against my starters, or really my backups. Kevin Sousa went a solid 10-16 for 189 yards and 4 touchdowns, while tossing 0 picks. Senior running back Khiry Sutton cranked out 195 yards on 12 attempts and 3 scores.. all in the first half. Backup Drew Brown gashed the Duke defense to the tune of 11 carries for 166 yards in second half mop up duty. Duke had 5 turnovers to Wake's 0.

Was ridiculous, I had to run out of bounds all second half at about the 5 and kneel it out to prevent from scoring 70...

Btw, what defense were you running against me in obvious run situations? Was that a 5-2? I couldn't figure out exactly what it was.

Ya this game sucks. At least if okie lite made it we would see some offense. Seriously we're at 6 quarters and an overtime win no TD's.
