You know the drill....
Stanford makes an immediate impact to add depth to their offensive line - landing the #3 Guard and #1 Tackle in the country
A nice instant commit for PSU
#1 Ath Johnny Walker, 6'3" 181lbs, from Horsham, PA
Looks like the Livingston's half brother.
USC picks up a commit from T Scott Woods.
Nothing special, but he'll provide depth for the future on the offensive line and will definitely redshirt his first year on campus. But hey, when you need to fill 18 scholarships, any instant commit in week 1 helps.
2 Insta commits for the Bruins, a 4 star TE out of California and a 4 star CB out of Colorado.
6'1 178lb Aurora, OH
Elite speed, great ball skills, no Tats. Perfect WR for the Bucks.
6'5 287lb Wooster, OH
Very quick off the line and strong. Great size. The state of Ohio came trough for the Buckeyes in Week 1
USC snags a commit from #2 QB Adam Fogle out of MI. Getting him to sign early allows USC to drop the other QB's on the recruiting board.
I think I went against his brother last night, Kevin Fogle, he fucking killed me last night. He went 14-17-238 yards 3 TDs, 2 Ints. So he basically he completed every pass but one.
#1 FS Chad Wilson, 6'3", 210 lbs, Canon City, CO
Good all around safety with A+ speed. May have to wait a bit to see the field.
How many TFL's will he have
The Bears have signed 3. None of them will make an immediate impact however. Recruiting board updated.
#8 G Brock Perry, 6'5", 309, Harrison, PA
After getting no OL men last year. PSU has some catching up to do.
Nebraska picks up its first commit from:
#8 TE John Stanley out of Aspen, Colorado. 6'4 230. This is a TE in a WR's body and pairing him with Sophomore Freshmen All American TE Nick Ham should give Nebraska one of the deepest and most dangerous TE duos in the nation.
USC picks up a commitment from #7 DE Amir Cameron, an ESPNU150 player out of Coach Dru's old high school stomping grounds - Santa Clarita, CA.
Amir is a bit small for a 3-4 DE, at 6'1" and 223 lbs, but the coaches think he might be able to bulk up over time.
do weights actually change from year to year? i thought they did in previous versions. Just curious
for example PSU DE CJ Lane came in at 213lbs and is now as a true junior 222lbs
USC picks up commitments from the following players following a week 4 visit:
#2 TE Kareem Porter out of NJ
#14 DE Aaron Clayton out of CA
Just noticed come next year Nebraska will no longer be a pipeline state lol.
By the way due to my comeback win over Darr27z Wildcats I should be in much better shape for recruiting. I had some big guys on my board there for that one.
The Cardinal may have found their QB of the future: #1 QB Timothy Singletary. I understand that this is a weak class for QBs, but they are only expected to hand the ball off in my offense so his questionable arm shouldn't play too much of a factor.
Along with Singletary, Stanford signs 5 star athlete Matt Franklin. The immediate plan is for him to fill one of the safety slots in the near future to help out with a weakened secondary.
UCLA adds their first 5 star recruit in 5 season, ATH Kerry Dixon. Dixon is 6' 1", 184 lbs and will likely play in the Bruin secondary starting day one!
Dang it! Nice addition. I was in a real battle with you for him.
Next 2 weeks are huge for recruiting. Wondering if I can get either of the WRs I am going after. Its going to be close, hopefully Ohio St. does not get a commit with his week 6 visit.
in other recruiting news:
#1 OLB Freddie Romero, 6'7" 239lbs, Ephrata, PA
On paper, the best LB ever, Great Speed, Size, and coverage skills
#4 CB Kevin Morton, 6'2" 179 lbs, Arabi, LA
PSU uses a clutch bye week visit to stay ahead of Wisconson and secure the commit
Wtf kinda lb?
Bye week visits and poor spelling always get those kids from the south interested.
Separate names with a comma.
