Didn't you run 3-3-5 in the tourney and hate it?

I tried it for 2 games. To be honest, I may hate it again, but I need something new to try in an attempt to keep my interest in doing something other than recruiting.

I like 3-3-5, obviously, I will say if you run "stack" or "across" you are pretty vulnerable to the power run. I run "okie" in reasonable run situations because it lines up a lot like a 3-4. There is also a 5-2 and 4-4 type look you can mess around with. Another warning, make sure you have a couple audibles you like, sometimes the man coverage doesn't line up right and you'll need to audible off. Another thing I like is that with 5 DBs you can often run your "base" against 3WR and still have pretty good match ups.

I may change my mind after running my CPU game, so it's not set in stone yet.

I'm using FSU's PB but I am adding Gator Heavy in it. I'll also warn you that QB Ryan, QB Winston, HB Pender, or WR Bracy may take snaps in the formation. Everything else is the same.

I'm game planning hard with formation subs this season, but it won't mean anything if I'm 1-2 after losing to Arky and UGA

After a test CPU game with that defense, I'm going back to the 4-3.

Did you use 3-3-5 in your first 2 games, if so what did you think?

I was impressed by it. Kentucky couldn't convert a third down, and MSU became a turnover machine because of the pressure

This is what I say, if you can't beat them, join them. As long as it is allowed, I will use it.
