    Post em here

SOB! Shaun is #1 on all of the top WR's interested in me...all the 5 stars. Looks like I'll just have to kick your ass on the recruiting trail again.

Penn State starts off the 2014 season with a bang getting 3 commits:
    Jonathan Clark
    :4stars:OT
    Height: 6'8"
    Weight: 269 lbs
    Hometown: Seven Hills, OH
    Tendency: Balanced
Clark was a huge get as the Nittany Lions biggest need was the offensive Tackle position. Clark was a ESPN 150 recruit and the #4 Tackle in the country. He should see early playing time.
    Chris Edwards
    :4stars:QB
    Height: 6'5"
    Weight: 195 lbs
    Hometown: Hermitage, PA
    Tendency: Scrambler
Another ESPN 150 recruit. With Penn St losing 4 of the 7 QB's on the current roster next season, Edwards will still probably be redshirted but should be able to battle for the starting spot come 2016.
    Josh Brown
    :4stars:TE
    Height: 6'7"
    Weight: 248 lbs
    Hometown: Windsor, CN
    Tendency: Blocking
Penn St goes into Canada to nab this big physical TE. With the TE position being a big emphasis on this offense, Brown will be expected to contribute fairly early. Look for a long and productive career from Brown.

I guess I should have waited on posting this as I'm sure we will have some guys that will use this info before they recruit this week. Oh well, consider this a gift from the FNG.. ;)

If you check the wire, it shows in real time once a player commits. I already removed the free safety shaun signed. I don't think your guys were on my board though.

Yeah I know man. I hate that though, I think it gives guys a reason to stall the first week of the season so they can get a slight advantage. I've seen guys that are always quick to get games in during the season but are always one of the last one's to get their shit done the first week of the season. I for one didn't even bother to take a look at it because I was excited to get rolling along but I assume others will use that feature. It's not a big deal but hopefully we don't have any stallers here. ;)

He won't go easily, I bet everyone has their eye on him. There might be one or two boards without him...if that.

I hope it didn't come across that I was saying that you were as that was not my intent. I was just saying that I've seen guys do this in other leagues I have been in.

Florida State signs :5stars: ATH Jason Davis, 6'2 212 from Key Largo, FL. Davis projects to strong safety, where he will most likely take a redshirt next year and could possibly be the 2016 starter as a freshman. Davis comes in with B speed and tackle, as well as B- play recognition and agility.

With 24 available scholarships this season, UF needed to hit the ground running in recruiting this year. We did just that.

So without further adue, the 4 UF week 1 instant commits are.....

    G Tim Mitchell :5stars:
    6'2" 267 lbs, MO

Tim is a little light for your typical SEC guard, but with the new offensive attack being implemented by coach KSherm he fits in perfectly. He's got good speed and agility (C-), strong stamina for an OL (C+), and rates out in the B range for all blocking abilities.

    SS Karl Witherspoon :5stars:
    6' 201 lbs, FL

Karl was the top freshman safety on our board. We only needed one so he's our guy. He's pretty solid all around and he should get some time to develop before seeing action in Gainesville.

    MLB Bryan Neal :4stars:
    6'1" 231 lbs, FL

Fits the criteria of a Florida LB to the T. You must be fast (B spd), strong (B- str), read and react (C play rec), tackle (C), and get off blocks well (B block shed). He's also decent in coverage so he'll be a great addition. We still need to sign one or two more LBs, but Neal is a great starting point.

    QB Marcus Barnett :3stars:
    6'2" 263 lbs, FL

Yup, you read that right, 263 LBS of QB muscle. We needed a backup / role player QB in this years recruiting class and we found just that in Barnett. He's huge and brings B- speed and agility to the table. He needs to develop his arm (C tp, C- ta) but he should have time to do that. Barnett will likely see plenty of action in goalline and short yardage situations with his huge frame and his B break tackle ability.
@gowazzucougs - looks like I might be using some Gator Heavy formations in the years to come.

I figure he's one of the few QBs big enough to withstand the pounding he's going to get in the SEC with the new pass rush. (Not bitching, just trying to adapt.) I think smaller QBs will get killed with all the hits.

Plus, he'll bring that Tebow dimension to our goalline packages. Or if that doesn't work, he could see time as a short yardage running back.
