FSU signs 2 players in week 1.

:4stars:P Robert Miller - 83 OVR - He's got 94 kick power, but FSU has a RS sophomore punter with 98 kick power. He'll redshirt and start soon enough. #2 punter in the nation.

:4stars:WR Derrick Ramsour - 75 OVR (+1, 47%) - He's an average receiver but FSU decided they wanted to use a scholarship on him. It may be a year or two before he sees the field.

Georgia continues to develop "Cornerback U", with the 5th straight season of signing a top 3 CB recruit.

:4stars: #3 CB Brandon Gore 6'3" 186lbs out of Thomson, GA

Brandon is huge for a CB, with a great wingspan. He combines that with good athletic ability for the position, especially in top end speed. He currently projects as a 77 OVR, but we haven't unlocked his coverage ratings yet.

I think I had that guy on my board but saw you and Arky ahead of me...he was dropped instantly. I swear WGW signs a SS or FS every season!

I have a premium on safeties running the 3-3-5..... I have other options, the #1 FS has me top on his board, but my preseason/week 1 scouting had the one he signed rated higher..... My "team needs" require 3 of each safety where the 4-3 or 3-4 only requires 2 of each.

Georgia finds their first gem of the season 5 class:

    :3stars: #16 C Jorge Matthews 6'4" 296lbs out of Greer, SC

He is currently projected to come in at a 79 OVR (+11) at 70% scouting.

    Georgia signs an in-state kid....

    :4stars: #4 DE Vince Durbin

Good pass rushing prospect that we nabbed early to cock-block Florida and FSU who were reportedly interested.

This is a big recruiting week for the Canes as we have most of the recruits we really want over...

    3 more for the Bulldogs:

:4stars: #5 WR Tim Tate 5'11" 200lbs out of Timberlake, VA

TIMMAH!!!! If for no other reason than I can shout this when he makes a play, this kid will be my new favorite WR. Speed of 94 with solid receiving skills. He is projected to come in at a 79 OVR.

:4stars: #3 DT Stephen Rutledge 6' 297lbs out of Pleasant Hill, CA

Somehow Stephen visited both Georgia and Coach whygodwhy1111 in Arkansas at the same time in week 3. Coach Dru's knowledge of local CA gentlemen's establishments reportedly factored into his decision to come to GA.

:3stars: #15 OLB Craig Lawson 6'3" 234lbs out of Poquoson, VA

His lack of elite athleticism scared away the other schools, but his knowledge, technique and intangibles are off the charts. Currently projected to come in at a 80 OVR (+9).

Mizzou has signed the top 2 fullback recruits in the nation...... likely I wil move the taller one to TE since he meets the position requirements and seems to have nice receiving abilities.

Also micked up a 4 star corner who comes in at 79, the best CB signing in my tenure at Mizzou. Hes a bit slow (92/84 spd/acc) but has lockdown man cover skills (90 mcov!) and should add a bit more speed in training over the years since he wont be asked to start right away

This is the longest I have gone without a signing to this point in the dynasty. However I have 3 really good verbals and some other solid recruits that I am 1 or 2 on their boards. Very excited about the possibilities

Hopefully the loss to Arkansas will not scare away most recruits.

    This.

I haven't lost yet, but I haven't beaten them yet, so we're preparing for the worst :(

Just curious..... when are we advancing? I believe that around 8 or 9 tonight is 48 hours...... I'm anxious because I had like 7 or 8 visits this week and I'm hoping to get some commits

I'm going to give recchem2000 and Cheez a chance to play tonight. I've been told they will get the game in. I will advance us either way at some point tonight but it may be late this evening.

No, never. I just don't want to lose them based on this game.

No, not vs Arky. I think I'm on the road this year anyway for this game. I seem to lose momentum on some recruits right around the time I lose to Arkansas every year though.

Georgia gets a 2nd LB commitment:

:4stars: #7 OLB Jordan Burch 6'1" 225lbs out of Laurinburg, NC

Jordan projects as only a 76 OVR, but the staff really likes his skillset as a 3rd down or nickel LB. He has good athletic ability but shines in coverage (72 MCV and 80 ZCV).

LSU gets on the board with 2 recruits. First is G Gray (76 OVR) from Cali. He is a much needed signing to shore up the line. He had Miami as his #1 choice until he came to a frat party in Baton Rouge and signed right after. Also signed was OLB Brown (78 OVR 58%) who is also needed at the position.
