Ohio State started off shaky last season with a 1-2 record after 3 games. The Buckeyes went on a run after the second loss, winning their last 11 games to finish 12-2. This includes a conference championship win against Michigan State and a Rose Bowl Win over UCLA. Expectations are high for OSU this season as the Buckeyes enter this season with the #1 ranking in the country.
    Offense
The Buckeyes return most of the skill position players but must replace several members along the offensive line. Rashad Rogers returns for his junior season and he looks to build on his strong season in 2015. He passed for more than 3,000 yards and 30 touchdowns, but needs to cut down on his interceptions. The backfield duo of Bri'onte Dunn and David Jones also return and give OSU a nice power/speed rush combo. The receiving core also returns most of its top playmakers, with the exception of Verlon Reed. Doug Johnson assumes the top spot with Riquan Southward and Brendan Perry in the next two spots. Southward was a solid performer last season but missed several games with a leg injury. TE Nick Vannett is another player the Buckeyes must replace but Oliver Wallace looks to be a solid player. As for the offensive line, there are some talented players in the group but it will depend on how the players mesh. Offensive tackles Joey O'Connor and Chris Smith are converted guards so it will be interesting to see how they fare in their new roles. Kyle Dodson is the only returning starter that is playing his natural position.

    Defense
The defense had some growing pains last season but played better as the season progressed. This year the defensive side returns most of the key starters. Most of the losses were along the defensive line but the replacement players may be more talented than the departed played. Noah Spence has been sitting on the bench for 4 seasons but finally gets a starting role as a redshirt senior. He is among the best pass rush defensive ends in the country. Craig Mirvil is also a very gifted pass rusher and a nice complement to Spence. Opposing quarterbacks will need to stay alert when playing OSU. DT Eric Lucas was one of several Buckeyes that considered leaving early for draft, but Lucas elected to return for his senior year. He is another strong pass rusher, and the same can be said for fellow DT Jeff Fulton. The linebacker group returns 2 of 3 starters this year, including 4-year starter Maurice Fuller. Redshirt senior MLB Se'Von Pittman is the new starter in the group. He is a converted defensive end but still has skills to stay in pass coverage. Expect OLB John Stallings to be on the field in passing downs. The secondary also returns most of its starters, the exception being SS Rory Henderson. Henderson elected to go pro after his junior season. Devron Jones takes over the starting spot and he has more athleticism than Henderson. There are some areas he will need to address in the upcoming season. Micah Jones and Josh Mason return as the starting cornerbacks, and senior T.J. Henderson is back at free safety. The secondary should be one of the strengths for this OSU team.

UCLA had it's best season of the Coach Henderson era. They finished 11-3 and won the PAC-12. The only loses they had came to teams who all finished in the top ten. This year they start the season ranked 19 and ecpect to build on what they did last year. The overall talent on the team is the best it's been since Coach Henderson took over. The recruiting is starting to show and the next few years should be good ones.

    Play book

    Offense: Pro Style (Arkansas base)
    Defense: 4-3

    Returning Starters

    Offense: 7
    Defense: 8

    Offensive Preview

The Bruins will utilize a balanced pro style attact again this season. This has been the trademark for the Bruins for a few years now. They will take what the defense gives them and utilize a very talented QB in TJ Millweard. TJ has been the back up to Brent Hundley for 3 years and is ready to be the man this year. He is a prototype pocket passer and is a perfect fit for this offense. At RB Derek Coe looks to take the nation by storm once again. He came out of no were last year but, this year is the front runner for the heisman trophy. He is the fastest RB in college football and one of the fastest players. Millweard also has a great WR to throw to in Jake Gray. Gray had a very good year last year and hopes to build on that this year.

It will be hard to stop the Bruins offense this year and they look to be at the top of the PAC-12 leader boards.

    Defense

Coach Henderson has feilded some of the best defenses in the Nation during his time at UCLA. The Bruins believe that defense does win championships and this is the most talented group he has had. They will run a 4-3 base with lot's of man to man and blitzing. They do not want the QB to be comfortable in the pocket.
Steven Bray has been a monster at DE. He racked up 22 sacks last year and is just a terror to opposing QB's. They also have one of the best DT in the nation in Ellis McCarthy. He is a huge run stoper in the middle. They also have a fast and very good secondary that should make it tough for QB's to find anyone open.

    Overview

This should be a good year for the Bruins. How good? We will know by years end. They will tell you that the goal is a National Championship.

The Ducks had a disspointing end to last season with a close loss to UCLA in the PAC 12 Championship Game. They look to redeem themselves this year and as always at Oregon a BCS title is what the fans and coaches expect.

    Offense
The Ducks run a spread attack with an emphasis on the run and as in years past the QB position is the catalyst. Oregon must replace Marucs Mariota who left Oregon with most of its records at the QB position. Ryan Patterson is the stronger runner and Will Briggs has the big arm. Expect to see both on the field. JJ Jackson is the returning starter at RB and should get some heisman talk by the end of the year if he gets his carries. Seth Hodges is the leading returning WR with the rest of the WR youn and inexperianced. Expect the Ducks to focus on teh ground game as they break in their new QB and WR's.

    Defense
Oregons defense is strong as ever and return several starters. DT Arik Armstead anchors the Dline and 4 year starter at MLB Rob Bolen is the natural leader on the field. The secondary may be weak on the corners with 2 new starters so expect to see alot of over the top help. The ccoaching staff is hoping their front 4 will provide enough pressure to allow for teh help in the passing game.

    Outlook
10 wins is the norm, but the fans are getting impatient as they long for the beloved crystal ball. With one of teh toughest schedules in the nation it will be a long road. If Oregon can find teh next star at QB their path will be easier.

    2016 Florida State Seminoles
    [IMG]
The Florida State Seminoles had a disappointing 2015 season including a mysterious disappearance by Coach Jobber. "I had some issues to work out but now I am back and ready to take it to the next level!" exclaimed the Coach.
    Offense: FSU
    Defense: 3-4
Offense: The Seminoles will be led by AA candidate JR Mark Smith at the QB position and he will be backed up capably by SR Jamie Winston. The HB corp will be led by HB Mario Pender and Sam Branch. Brad Sanders and Sean Coley will also be used in subbed formations.
Despite the loss of Kelvin Benjamin and Marvin Bracy, the sems will have a stellar receiving corp, led by explosive Bryan Hicks, Ryan Rhodes and David Newell. The TE corp will be led by the Greek Freek Christo Kourtzedis and FR Brian Taylor.
The OL will be solid again led by C Shannon Williams and also C Tommy Edwards will play some LT as well as backup all over the line. The OT are young in Travis Byrd and Matt Jackson but they have great athletic ability. The OGs will be JR Eric Sledge and Jim Leonard.
Defense: Despite the loss of Mario Edwards, the DL will be strong again this season, with AJ Parsons and Brent Williams leading the charge at the DE spots. The DTs spot is as strong as my OU squad in 2010. Chris Caldwell, Jerry O'Connell, and Josh Carter are 90+ and very strong.
The LBs will be led by OLB Ukeme Eligwe and MLB Vic Roach. The 4-4 may be used alot this season as MLB Reggie Northrup deserves some playing time along with OLB Rick Bell.
The Secondary will be led by AA SS Brent Roberson. The FS position will be Howard Hart and the CB positions will be manned by Scott Spencer and Rashaud Harvey.
The specialists will be led by Jack Clark. Nuff said.
The Sems look to be in the bid for a BCS game and avenge their disappointing season last year.

    Team Preview
    2016
    Offensive Scheme: Pro Style
The 2016 Maryland offense is lead by returning senior play makers QB Ryan Rogers and WR T.J. Robbins. Our "O" line is anchored by senior OT Mike Madaras and is finished off by 4 sophomores. The average across the front is an agile 6'4" 297 pounds. Sr TE David Poland is expected to make a huge impact again this year with his 6'6" 262 pound frame and the softest set of hands ever seen on a man this size. HB Wes Brown will be teamed with a pair of Sr FBs, Bobby Beach and Jacob Peters who can both drop the hammer and catch the ball out of the backfield.
    Defensive Scheme: 4-3
The Terp defense is likely our best weapon. Sr DEs Quinton Richardson and Cornelius Weber provide the support a very active and hit happy "D" line. Their favorite meal is a QB sandwich with a side of RB. Although there are no big names on the defensive side of the ball those boys get the job done. The new scheme is actually going to work out well for us and the personnel we have this year. We bounce around like our "hair is on fire" or "all jacked-up on Mt Dew" and will knock the snot out of you on the "D".
    Outlook for 2016
The possibilities for this season is limitless. We face a pretty challenging schedule this year but we expect great things from our ball club. Things happen for a reason and this season we look to impose our will on the opposition.
