Believe it or not, it is already bowl season. Looks like Iowa vs Rutgers will be the only user match-up, and it's not for the National Title!

Hey RyanC I'd beware of TCU man. I have played them the last two seasons, they were my last regular season game this year, and they are no push over by any means. Their defensive line is insane and loves to jump the snap. I noticed they were very aggressive so I used quite a few screens and play action to keep them off balance. Good luck!

Thanks for the scouting report. I was kinda annoyed that I got matched up against them, it's like the game wants me to lose my bowl game lol.

I didn't do it but I would suggest scouting their depth chart and finding what weaknesses you can. I found them to be susceptible to TIMELY screen passes, smash routes and occasional flood routes. They are very firm against the run so I came out of the gates in spread formations and passed for a few first downs to loosen them up some. I noticed the most consistent open pass was on the smash route when your X wr will do that stick or comeback route. They were dropping back their corners into deep zones and the CB would latch onto the deep corner or hitch route and leave that comeback route wide open.

I don't remember what that type of route is called off hand so if anyone can chime in that would be great. I think it is referred to as a flag route b/c they run 10 yards and sprint for the pylon but i can't be sure. Oh and hit stick when available b/c i had great success with it. I forced three fumbles and recovered two of them with timely big hits. They ran a lot of speed options and zone reads on me too. One of the fumbles I got was when I lit up the QB on one of those plays. In fact if you look at my season six scores break down for that game one of the videos I uploaded was of that play.

Just be ready for a lot of spread option stuff man. Most of the time the biggest problems they gave me were on HB draws, crossing routes and a few deep verticles. Not sure what your defensive player's ratings are for tackle but their RB breaks a lot of them so if you're players aren't equipped to wrap up I'd set Big Hits and Strip to conservative. I hope this helps man and good luck with your bowl game. A win over TCU might just vault you into the season's final top 25!

No, not yet at least(Was referring to the UCLA game). They seem to want an Oklahoma victory bad. My QB is running for his life on every play and all of my recievers are covered. I forced a fumble against them and they picked it up and ran it 60 yds for a TD. 14-7 3rd quarter.

Now we're just waiting on stiff bon air. If he gets his game in tonight, I'll advance to players leaving when I get home from work (4AM EST). I will then advance every 12 hours until we get to our designated preseason time, which is looking like Sunday 6pm est at the moment.
