I dont have google doc access at work..... so I will keep this thread updated with my signings and transfer to the google doc when I have time

:4stars: CB Joe Jones committed to the Warriors in week 1. Jones has ideal size at 6-2, 199 to go along with elite speed (A). Given the lack of depth at corner going into next season, Jones projects as a nickel or dime contributor right away in Honolulu and will be expected to make plays right away for the Warrior's opportunistic defense.

:4stars: FS Trent Kelly decided to make Honolulu his college football destination. Trent has adequate size at 6-1 196, in addition, he has very good speed, acceleration and agility (all B+). Given the roster situation at safety, Trent will likely be called upon to contribute in two years as a sophomore or redshirt freshman.

:3stars: OLB Andrew Allen decided to stay close to home and attend Hawaii. Allen has great size at 6-3, 238 along with solid speed (B). He should be allowed a redshirt season before working his way into the defensive rotation.

:4stars: MLB Jerry Hicks is coming to Hawaii. Hicks doesn't have top shelf size (6-1, 228) or speed (C+) but is a smart player (play rec B-) with great fundamental tackling (B-), plus he packs a whollop for his size (B- hit pow).

:4stars: OLB Marvin Campbell brings a nice skillset to Hawaii. Marvin is undersized at 6-2 and just 210lb, but he is a tremendous tackler (B) who should be a key element to this defense in the coming years.

:4stars: WR Jason Terry chose Hawaii over Cal and USC. Jason has tremendous size at 6-5, 204 which should make him a menace in the red zone. In addition, Jason has solid speed (B+) and hands (C) for a four star prospect.

:4stars: CB Darrick Coker is a press coverage stud from Colorado. Darrick has the press and man skills (B+ and B-) to go man to man in the MWC. He will likely be called upon to contribute early in his career.

:4stars: C David Cowan has elite speed and agility on the O-line (C spd, B agi) to go along with nice size at 6-3, 296. David is considered a pass blocker but has enough strength and technique to contribute in the run game also. Expect to see David on the field sooner rather that later.

:5stars: WR Doug Fry is a local Hawaii kid who was flying a little under the recruiting radar. Doug doesn't have elite size at just 5-11, 208 or speed (B) but has excellent hands and route running as well as a knack for coming up with catches in traffic or to get to balls others couldn't. Fry is likely to redshirt next season but could be a standout in his Hawaii career.

:4stars: TE Phillip Ingram is a tough blocking tight end (B- rblock) who has enough athleticism (C+ across) and size (6-3, 242) to keep defenses honest. Depending on fall training, Ingram projects as the teams #1 or #2 TE next season.

:4stars: DT Cornelius Cowan is one of the most critical signings the warriors have made. The 6-2, 305 pound stud nearly signed with coach Baron at FIU but decided to come out to Honolulu instead where he's already penciled in as next seasons day 1 starter at the nose.

:5stars: WR John Hardy is a Texas kid who just wasn't getting much attention from SEC or Big 12 schools. Coach Utah stepped in and the kid will be bringing his elite size (6-4, 180) and skills out to Hawaii. He isn't projected to start, but he could see the field early depending on the offseason.

:4stars: FS J.R. Matthews is a 218 lb big hitting safety out of Cali. J.R. will likely get a look at LB in camp next fall because he is a step slower than coaches want in a FS (B speed) and his size, acceleration, tackling, and cover skills could make him a nice fit in the 3-4.

:1stars: G Kelly Fisher is a JUCO Junior with enough skill (C in almost all blocking stats) to be in the 2 deep right away despite his low star rating. He is likely to be a 2 year backup in Honolulu but will likely be important with regards to depth.

    Coaches Thoughts.......

This is clearly the best recruiting class ever to head out to Hawaii in a single season. There are two :5stars: and ten :4stars: players in the mix making it one of the top classes in the entire nation. A couple things that jump out immediately are the DT and C signings. These were two need positions and both will likely start as true freshman. Also, the TE signing was a big one and he will see the field early. The defense got a lot of depth at LB and in the secondary and the WR corps will be scary in a couple seasons with these guys added to last seasons :5stars: Bill Flynn.

Tulsa signed their first two :4stars: commitments under coach Hexum, HB Mike Dunbar and OLB Craig Riley. Dunbar will jump right into competition for the backup spot behind Cameron Hopkins, while Riley may switch to MLB to help a position lacking in depth.
