I pretty much blew my load when I saw he insta committed. Real excited about this guy. If I'm real lucky I'll redshirt him and move him to corner to be an absolute freak out there.

By the way, if you are going after top 150 players I feel like Im bringing a knife to a gun fight. I had a 400 point week on a guy last week, throw in about -100 against the leader, I was number 3 on the guy's list down 5%. Hoping to get close to him.

    Im down 10% this week.

I have some on my list sure. I have a lot of interested players but I can't have them all obviously - I've got my list down to the main 10 I'm targeting for now and we'll see how it goes. I've made a point to avoid big time recruiting battles so hopefully the guys i'm targeting, I'll get.

Corner? Your plan is to keep the outside WRs wide open?

I just can't imagine a 6'4" 218 lb corner coming out of high school. That guy usually ends up at OLB or DE depending on how much he eats.

His natural position is safety - that would obviously be the ideal spot. But if I keep recruiting safeties like I have been, he may end up being a corner. C+ man/zone guy would be mid 80's after a redshirt, which is fine for me when you're that big and that fast.

    C+ = 75-79
So you are saying he is going to progress 4-12 points in coverage categories after a redshirt?

    Don't hold your breath...

Michigan already signed a WR for me. He's not great but he'll be alright.

    Robert Williams - :3stars: 5'11", 189 lbs, B+ speed, B acc, A- carrying

I was waiting to see if you were going after that 6'6'' white kid. He could be good.

This could very well be the best recruiting class I've signed yet in the Deuce. I'm in line to sign a 4 star DT that will fit our new 3-4 system very well at 6'6 319. I've also got a couple of solid corners that I have a good chance at. This recruiting class is overall probably one of the better ones we've had. There are some very good players out there. Most of my battles this year are going to be with either BBJ or UCLA again. I've managed to avoid Drifter on most of my targets this time...

How do I set it to default to the current season when you view the doc?

Flip it so the current season is the first tab on google docs. Just drag and drop.

I created a new thread just for our recruiting spreadsheets. If everyone posts ONLY their spreadsheet in that thread it will stay updated as we update our google docs. We can use this thread to talk about recruiting and use the other thread to easily see everyone's classes.

Drifterbub Can you sticky that for me?

Excited to see this guy - he's pretty athletic for a DT and not really a true nose so I'm thinking he may slide outside in the 3-4 defense. He could be pretty epic at RE I'm thinking.

I insta-committed a nice 4 star WR. I didnt want to announce it til now so BBJ would waste time on him.

He's a Buckeye. I've been targeting DT's as all of mine are RS JR and I need to fill out the position a bit. Harrell is a nice grab regardless, but I'm thinking with my needs at End as well he may slide out there. I just gotta find some more DT's

Im trying to recover on two players. I blew by Utah this week on a DE that I decided I wanted. I don't need him right now, but 2-3 years from now he could help.

Im doing everything I can to land OL, and there are 5 guys that Im trying to close with. I need all 5.

Illinois landed its first commit the #11 Center in the country, Craig Lewis a :3stars: from Michigan. Obviously he won't play right away, but we need bodies in the worst way on the OL and signing Lewis is step 1. Have four more guys I need to sign, and Im doing everything I can to get them on campus.
