Do you realize how big this game is? It is for second place in the division.

I don't need 2nd place on the line for a game against Cheez to be large. Its bigger to me to knock him out of the National Championship and get my 2nd win in 8 seasons.

    MSU 62
    Iowa 27

Michigan State’s offense looked pretty good vs. Iowa but they turned the ball over 4 times, which allowed Iowa to hang around in the 3rd quarter. HB Mason Johnson had a big game scoring 3 TD, 1 rushing, kick return, and punt return. Ryan Johnson passed for 5 TDs but was sacked 5 times, threw 2 picks, and fumbled twice.

Ryan Johnson (QB)- 18-32 for 402 yards, 5 TD, 2 INT
Mason Johnson (HB)- 8 carries for 127 yards, TD, PR TD, KR TD
Glenn Fenner (WR)- 4 receptions for 116 yards, TD
Travis Young (WR)- 5 receptions for 93 yards, TD
Brandon Washington (WR)- 3 receptions for 61 yards, 2 TD
Aaron Long (LB)- 10 tackles, 2 TFL, FF
Eric Burns (CB)- 8 tackles, 2 TFL, INT

That's what's happened to me as well early. We need to sustain drives and not turn it over. I usually hold on till about the 3rd qtr when he just gives it to his Oline and we get worn down. Gotta make him throw and I think we'll be fine

I would generally cheer for Cal and UCLA when they play Stanford, however I feel it is in the best of Washington State to see Stanford beat both of you. I have a strong suspicion based on the current polls that if Stanford wins out, and WSU beats Washington, Washington State will be playing in the Rose Bowl. Rec and Jayrah you can call me crazy, but that is how I see it. If for some reason UW beats WSU, CAL and UCLA you can try your best to beat Stanford.

gowazzucougs I don't think the game would put you there even if that plays out. You may well deserve it if that were the case, but don't think it would put the 3rd best team in. Especially if Ucla beats SC I think they would go before the Cougs. Regardless it is in your best interest for me to lose.

This is how I see it, WSU is 13th, I am figuring by CCG Week WSU will be 10th or so. UCLA and MSU/Nebraska/OSU will lose the CCGs allowing the Cougs to go up to some where between 5-8. If other teams ahead of WSU loses, it will also benefit us. Here is the real key the CPU will not pick UCLA because they will have lost the CCG. Playing and losing the CCG is the kiss of death in terms of BCS Bowls selection. It is way better to not to even play in the game, then play and lose. Human and video game history is proof of this.

The lone example, VT should never have been selected. There were several teams that should have been selected over VT. I saw this in the LOS dynasty, I was a Top 10 team, didn't play in the CCG and was selected over the team that lost the CCG, even though they beat me. Earlier in this dynasty Dru's USC team was bypassed because they lost the CCG to Stanford. Then there is the Missouri/Kansas debacle. Missouri beats Kansas plays OU in the Big 12 CCG loses, and Kansas plays in the Orange Bowl. Missouri should have lost that game to Kansas and would have played in the Orange Bowl. My opinion, the cards are set up nicely to go to the Rose Bowl, it is not a guarantee, but I feel very confident.

Pretty sure 2 will make BCS games out of the Big 10. Nebraska is 10 and won't play in the CCG. And MSU/OSU winner will have a spot too. I have a feeling Washington State will sneak into a BCS Bowl

It sucks, losing the CCG is worse than not evening playing in it. Its OK, I bought a 2nd home in San Antonio since I ALWAYS go to the freakin' Alamo Bowl!
