ASU sucks bad. They had 3 points offensively and their only TD was on a fumble by my backup offense

Gator Bowl #24 Michigan VS. LSU

There wasnt much defense in the first qtr. as LSU took the opening kickoff and marched down to the Wolverine 27. On 3rd and 7 the Tigers had a wr drop a pass in the endzone and had to kick a field goal from 44 yards. The Wolverines first possession had the perfect mix of pass and run as they drove down and had a first and goal at the 8. After 2 runs for 1 yard and a dropped interception in the endzone Whitehead kicked a 21 yard field goal. LSU came right back 40 seconds later and hit on a 62 yard td pass. End 1st. 10-3 lsu.

Second qtr. was more of the same as the two teams took turns driving down the field. Michigans HB Thompson scored on a 14 yard run. The tigers drove down and scored on a 24 yard td pass to wr Frazier. Both teams added field goals in the last two minutes. 20-13 lsu at half.

Third Qtr. is when the Wolverines defense finally made a big play. After a Michigan punt the tigers had the ball first and ten from there 36. DE Cobbs rushed around right tackle and sacked QB Garcia at the 28 causing a fumble. Cobbs picked it up and ran 28 yards for the td. End of third 20-20.

starting the 4th qtr. the Wolverines defense had settled down stopping the tigers on there last 3 poessissions. after kicking a 27 yard field goal late third and taking a 23-20 lead the tigers were punting from there 25. Punt returner Gunn nearly cost his team the game by dropping the punt at his 36. The Tigers recovered and with 5 minutes left looked ready to win the ballgame. LSU drove to the 8 in 4 plays and had first and goal. the Tigers lost two on a delayed run and then dropped two passes in the endzone. 27 yard field goal tied the game at 23 with 4 minutes left. Both teams had 1 final poessission but couldnt drive past midfield. End of 4th 23-23 tie

The Wolverines won the toss and elected to take defense to start the first overtime. The Tigers went conservatitive in overtime and gained 5 yards on three carries before nailing a 37 yard field goal. 26-23 tigers.

Michigan started there drive by running two plays gaining 8 yards to the 17. On third and 2 the Wolverines hit te Lee on a 4 yard out pass and after breaking two tackles got inside the 5 for a first and goal. The wolverines tried to run up the gut with no success losing two yards. on second and goal from the 6 Qb Foster caught the tigers in a all out blitz. he had just enough time to loft the ball to the other side of the endzone before getting knocked out of the game. WR Cunningham randown the ball and scored the winning td. 29-26 Wolverines. final 1 o.t.

I don't know, in our first meeting it took major work to put them away and a lot of turnovers. Hopefully we keep up the turnovers and the offense keeps rolling and we should be good.
