Each team must declare a playbook before week 4, if not posted by week 4 your school loses 1 scholarship per week. The playbooks are also locked as of week 4.

    Offense - Notre Dame

    Defense - Multiple

I'm starting off with USC offense and the 3-4 defense.

You know what I take that back.

@Twister18 what do you recommend for a good balanced playbook? I'm sticking with the 3-4 but I'm unsure what I want to use for the offense.

Brian, take a look at the Cal playbook for a good balanced playbook that is heavy on the power running sets (lot's of ace/I-form/strong sets with multiple TE's). You can also look at the PSU playbook which is pretty balanced and has more shotgun looks than the Cal playbook does.

Twist will tell you to look at the Georgia or Purdue playbooks, he's the unofficial spokesman for both.[IMG]

With the Cal vs PSU playbook it really comes down to how good your WR group is. If you've got 3-4 really good WR's that you want on the field alot, then the PSU playbook is the way to go. If you like your 2 TE's and 2 WR's more than the #3 and #4 WR's on your team, then the Cal playbook is nice as it gives you some good options to run the ball from various looks. For full disclosure, in the 2-3 seasons I used the Cal playbook in Good Ole Boys, it's great if you can keep the game close, because you can run between the tackles and control the clock. If you fall behind 2-3 scores it's not as great, as the all out passing options can be a bit limited if you have to go full passing.

I really am beginning to like Clemsons playbook as well, but Georgia is a beast of a book. Oklahoma has a pretty good book as well.

I haven't decided yet but I will probably stick with the Clemson book next year in C2C. It has a good mix of shotgun and base formations.

Clemson is a good playbook as well, I agree. I used that one with my FSU team 3 seasons ago before embracing the magic that is the Mississippi St cheddar factory.

If MSU's playbook is made of cheese, the cheese I used must have been bad against Texas.

You just gotta learn how to properly apply the velveeta, just ask the guys who played FSU (or LSU in C2C) after I got a handle on the playbook about the middle of season 5.....

Yeah, after the 40 pts that FSU put up on me with that velveeta in Season 6 I have my crackers ready to spread it on in wk 4.

Yeah Ohio State/Florida State will never, ever meet in T3 regular season while I am making the schedule. I already get to deal with that shit annually in C2C :).
