Looks pretty good at the top.... some diamonds in the rough too.....
It's OM, and then the rest of us on recruits.
Yeah...any recruit I get, I will have to overtake Ole Miss for.
I'm not sure I will have access to a CPU until we'd night, so y'all may be able to overtake me early.
By the way buffalo sucks.
Oh shit...we need to advance twice a night.
The best news of the season!
haha go get em boys!!!
Georgia Tech locked down some much needed recruits in week 1...
T ESPN150 Shawn Johnson (6'2" 302lbs. Fayetteville, TN)
I needed OL BAD. So getting Shawn is great. He will start next season with B run blocking and C pass blocking.
C Elliot Daniels (6'1" 275lbs. Dublin, GA)
Gotcha @JrRawlins !! Needed this mofo bad!!
FS Julius Smith (6'2" 178lbs. Thomasville, AL)
I am losing my starting SS and FS next season so I need to start getting some depth.
QB Jason Harvey (6'3" 205lbs. Panthersville, GA)
Didn't necessarily need a QB yet but I need to start planning for the future. I don't want to see anymore 74's starting on my roster.
Ole Miss was able to access the recruiting and landed a commitment from Dallas Huff a three star SS that I'm assuming is a juco, because his stats are off the charts good.
I need a little depth for next year and the SS crop is kind of lacking.
Damnit, well there goes my attempts at that guy...
snatched a HB fresh out of Georgia, should step in and immediately get carries...
Recruiting battles between Boston College and Ole Miss are really starting to take shape.
There are some big time battles brewing for players like Geoff Mitchell a HB that is a super star in the waiting. Also, LSU and Ole Miss are battling for Justin Scott a Athlete that looks like he could play multiple spots for either team.
BC and Ole Miss are also battling William Montoya, who it looks like Alabama has a decent lead for already, but he is far and away the best WR left on the board.
Ole Miss has taken the early lead on few players like Ryan Carter a QB out of Washington, that has great ratings, and I really like. Also Marcus Singleton is leaning Ole Miss' way and is going to get a big time look at Ole Miss at WR.
Its good to be back home and the LAWDOG HAS COME BACK TO THE DEUCE:
Sanders has more luck with visits than anyone else I've ever seen. And that includes OM.
especially when he doesnt have to play the games......
lol, no you're not.
nah, i really am, we both tried everything we could to get that game in....i know he wanted to play it as much if not more than i did... so i cant really fault him or myself for what happened....
Landed my first player. Running back, and to top it off, Lawdog was 2nd on his list.
Miami inked it's first commitment under the new coaching staff this week getting some much needed help along the offensive line.
G Andre Hall
6'4" 293 lbs
Andre's an ESPNU150 kid. He's got good speed and acceleration but he needs to add strength to be able to make an impact at the college level. He's got really good footwork but lacks the upper body strength right now to hold his own against the ACC's defensive lineman.
Take that Wake Forest ( @Drifterbub ). Took that offensive tackle. He will fit in nicely.
7 recruits in for the Georgia win........ hoping to sign at least 3 of them........
I dropped him after that bullshit week 3 visit you got off a sim win. You really want 2 home games next year don't you?
Wake Forest Recruiting Class - Season 9
MLB PS#4 Byron Flynn (6'0'' 248) MD - Byron is a great athlete with a mature frame beyond his age. After finishing in the top 5 in powerlifting his junior year, he decided to focus on football in his final year of high school. Byron is a natural run stopper and lateral LB who has a quick initial step and always takes a great path to the ball carrier. His coverage is suspect at times and he will need to learn to wrap up guys instead of knock their cleats off. Byron could see the move to OLB where the Deacons need immediate help.
TE PS#5 Robert Irons (6'3'' 243) NY - Irons has a little bit of everything you look for in a tight end. He is well rounded in both the passing and blocking aspects of the position while possesing the frame and athleticism to be great at both. His speed is good for his size, but not elite. He should have time to mature and elevate his game before playing a significant role. This will be especially true if Wake Forest can land a commitment from PS#1 TE Mark Williams.
Ehh, my recruiting not going so well, especially not as good as last season. My visits havent been that great, while other peoples visits skyrocket their points above me.
I grabbed a good DE, but am struggling with an MLB I need against Wake, and a CB against Bama. Will be settling for a bunch of filler this year.
Guys who I had a firm grip on, I suddenly am 2nd on out of nowhere to damn West Virginia...
I will get a few good guys, but I am going to be pissed if I lose those 2 recruits to West Virginia.
